Hampton Inn Toledo-South/Maumee

Breakfast was great. Pool is huge which is a plus and its conveniently located near lots of shops and food. Hotel rooms are a bit small so theres not alot of extra wiggle room but it was perfect for what we needed. We would stay here again.

Nice area and clean room

Toilette was clogged in the room and the door didn't shut all the way (it was to swollen from the humidity), side door wouldn't work for entry but everyone was told to use this even when they closed the main door late at night they put a sign up saying to use the side door. Our window was right next to said side door, so needless to say we got to listen to upset people going on and on about the stupid door and not being able to get in. Being told with a smile on their face oh no it works just not sometimes, made it much worse because for the time we were there I DID NOT WORK FOR ANYONE. Each time people tried to enter through that door we got woke up by our dogs. The room next door (at no fault to the hotel) had a drunk couple show up after midnight that was fun also.

Even though the beds and pillows are comfortable, the rooms are very basic and the floors are carpeted, never ideal for hygiene. Worst of all is the bathroom: it is very basic and has a barn door that faces the room and never closes to the end.

Generous variety of breakfast options, and not just the usual high fat varieties. Plenty of oatmeal, cereals and fruits.

Nice large pool and HOT TUB!! Clean especially being pet friendly. A hot breakfast is so important but the quality could’ve been better. Decent hotel in an area that at first didn’t appear that it was going to be ok. Turned out to be just fine. You could tell some guests were rough towards the property. Decent attempts have been made to remedy that bad behavior No housekeeping on a 3 night stay. Staff was confused when we asked for fresh towels. There were smiles but the staff did not engage unless they had to.

Comfy bed. The room had no coffee maker and no microwave.

The staff I interacted with was friendly and professional. The breakfast was towards the higher end of what you would expect for this price point.

There was no conditioner in the shower and I called down to house keeping and within 5 minutes they came with a new bottle!! Very happy 😊

Great stay and pool/breakfast/hottub

Pros: The location was good for where we needed to go in Toledo. When I decided to cancel our last day, there was no difficulty doing that. They had free breakfast. We did not eat but we did have coffee & tea. The bathroom was very clean and bright.

very dirty room ive stayed there before but the cleanliness breakfast and the hotel itself this stay was not good

William (front desk) was very polite when we checked in, the room was quiet and clean, the breakfast was good as well. If we travel to Toledo again we will stay here!

We stayed for two nights. The room was clean, the area where the hotel was located was very close to downtown Toledo, it also was around a meijer and all sorts of restaurants. My kids especially loved the pool. It was a pretty decent size
