Quality Inn Mauston I-90

Everything was filthy, entrance 6 had a horrid smell you had to hold your breath to walk though. Bed had crumbs and dog hair. There was womans underwear left behind from previous occupant. Rooms smelled like mold, when they came to change the sheets the owners wife and daughter came and looked visibly upset. The pool was dirty, the hot tub had visible floating dead skin cells. When it was time for breakfast there was not much to pick from not enough for the people that showed up for it.

Shower head was hand-held but stream was hard to adjust. Tub fixtures were not secured to wall properly. The bed was pushed against the wall and not moveable making it difficult for a second person to sleep in it (although we paid for a double room). Bed was extremely soft, in a worn-out way not a comfortably cushy way. Not sure if the sheets were changed when we arrived (curious stainage observed.) The pool was cold and the hot tub not very hot. Water in both could have been cleaner. Considering we had to pay the weekend rate ($140) things should have been better.

You probably shouldn’t have the doors open with a deadbolt, keeping the door open before guest check-in. Anybody could’ve gotten into my room.

Perfect breakfast room, large selection for breakfast and very clean. It can get a little noisy when the baseball teams are there.

This was a very nice place to stay, spacious rooms and great location and this might be right next to the highway you couldn't hear any traffic inside your room. The price was also very good

Property well maintained. Room very nice and everything seemed new. Pool and hot tub great. Only downside is the breakfast items had run out by 8:30 a.m. but we chalked this up to what seemed like a full house of bookings that weekend (ie teens and parents there for a soccer tournament). Will definitely book again!

The room was not very clean. The bathroom had not been swept and the sink was dirty.

Front desk people were very polite and helpful of everything. Pools were clean and were great temperatures. Cleanness of the room was okay. Breakfast was delicious a lot more items than you would think there would be. Thought the only recommendation I do have is that if you are light sleeper do not get a room by the poolside. There is no soundproofing in the room so if someone's being loud at the pool you will hear in your room.

Susan at the desk was awesome. We have a senior dog that doesn't do stairs and she was so accommodating, she changed our room and Franki loved it. Mary was so attentive to everyone at breakfast. The food was real good and she made sure that everyone had what they needed. Great staff. Cleaning staff does real good. There was no sign that a pet had been there before us. For me the bed was a little hard, but still comfortable. I wish that there had been a chair in our room, but it was still good.
