Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland East/Mayfield Village

A dated Hilton, repairs/upgrades needed. The rooms were clean, the mattresses need replacing. The breakfast was overly salted. Morning coffee, regular and decaf were available, also cold iced water and a variety of juices offered.. The shower water pressure was wonderful! The staff were polite, professional and helpful. A room mix-up did occur, however. The pool area was under construction; free breakfasts were offered as recompense. Plenty of room in parking lot, after a construction truck left.

Proximity to family in the area. Staff was friendly and accommodating Remodeling is in progress and very necessary. Hope it will be completed before next visit

Very awful experience especially with restaurant staff plus old and dated building.

Falling apart. Numerous bricks outside entry missing. My wife walks with a cane and had to dodge them. Both elevators filthy with cardboard on the walls halfway up. Any wallpaper peeling away. Ceiling showed evidence of leaks. 4th floor not accessible. Sure hope because renovation taking place. We were in a handicap room.

There were bed bugs in the room, and I got several bites all over my arm, ear, and hand. The staff did nothing to help even after showing them pictures of the bed bugs and the bite marks, and I had to move to Holiday Inn overnight. They also told me to call Expedia to dispute the charge and took no responsibility.

The person who checked us in was very understanding I had gotten the king suite with a king bed and a sofa bed There was no sofa bed on the first room they gave us Then we got moved to another room that had no AC finally we had to switch to a two queen bed suite

No breakfast or coffee in the lobby

The bed was pretty comfortable but the people above me were making a lot of noise the kids were jumping up and down like it was a playground. and I couldn’t sleep a wink. It was a nightmare.

The pool was closed, dirty hotel

The pool and spa were closed with very unclear response from staff. One said both were closed when I asked about it at check in and upon check out, the other said it was just the spa but wasn’t sure. They had a desk sign that guaranteed that guests would receive a satisfactory stay or it would be made right. Nothing was offered to me for the pool being closed until I pointed to the sign and then they said I could have gotten a free breakfast but I no longer had time for breakfast. The manager did not contact me after either. Additionally my room looked shabby and the bathroom was worn and not as well maintained as it should have been (dirty yellowed grout, etc). The stay was ok but not as nice as I had expected. Very irritating to have such a sign posted with no actual action to address problems.

I would not stay there again because the road to hotel was one way in and out and I was not notified before my stay there .The road to the hotel was a mess do to construction and was hard to get in and out of because it was one way and so many businesses on the road the traffic was heavy. Also when I checked in they had a notice that the water in the hotel would be shut off from 9 pm to 3 am on 8-17 -2026 something else I was not notified about before my arrival. When I arrived back at hotel on the 8-17-2026 in the evening not only was the water off but so was electricity was off in my part of the hotel. Which meant no elevator to get to the 2nd floor and when I got to my room the air conditioner was out for most of the and it got hot in room was not able to sleep.I do not know weather the hotel will reimburse me anything for this stuff but they were told about the road and air conditioner. I would not stay there again.

It was a very clean room but a little scuffed up. The staff was superb; helpful and very pleasant. The ice maker didn't work on our floor, had to go to lobby.

The were upgrading the outside of the building so there was construction. Streaming was not an option in the room

Construction on the street is hectic, but establishment is excellent!

We had a very pleasant stay. Everything was clean and comfortable.
