Comfort Inn Mayfield Heights Cleveland East

Property is good for the price you pay but dont expect much

Everything was clean and orderly. The staff was great and the breakfast was good.

Hotel is worn; some areas (main lobby and halls) looked nice. In our room, it looked like they “fixed” ceiling leaks, but the aesthetics of the repairs are unsightly.

Breakfast options were poor. TV had no guide for channels

The primary reason for four stars was a poorly handled misunderstanding with the night worker. Being correct isn’t a good reason for being snotty. I suspect the problem was one they deal with often, but it was the first time I’ve ever experienced it and rather than be polite and respectful, he went straight to rude. I know it’s a frustrating situation, but there is no reason not to try to be patient and explain things instead of showing your agitation when someone comes off a 12 hour drive and is arriving at 1am. You’re sitting watching tv and being paid. Just trying remembering your manners and turn on the attitude if manners don’t work first. The problem was mostly Expedia.s fault but blame is shared by the hotel for not adding the extra term and condition to the booking info which would have avoided the entire situation rather than expecting me to read your minds. Just chill. It didn’t need to be like that. The rest of the staff were pleasant.

Good

The room was

Clean and friendly staff. Rooms need to be modernized but a good stay overall.

No problems at all. Very Happy

Great location No daily room cleaning service unless requested. Towels must be exchanged. Dirty dust ruffles on the beds

Could hear TV in next room. Clean. Carpet worn. Breakfast OK, not special. Staff pleasant and helpful. Couldn’t black out outside light completely that was coming in around curtains at night.

Nothing

Small bathroom, not suitable for anyone who needs a grab bar. I don’t require one but I still felt like I had to be extra careful. Cramped. Parking was easy. Staff was unpleasant. The young woman who checked us in was obviously annoyed at our presence. She spoke curtly and rudely to me and two other patrons that I witnessed in just a few minutes. I briefly encountered two additional desk staff and no one had a smile. No one. I really felt like an unwanted visitor. Everyone seemed to be having trouble with the televisions, but the desk clerk didn’t seem to care.

Parfait! Je recommande sans aucune hésitation. Le déjeuner etait bon. La chambre propre et confortable

The hotel was clean and very quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was very good. Parking was easy and the location is great. The Wi-Fi was very reliable.

The location was close to restaurants and just off the interstate.

Nothing

Nice property

Basic no perks

The online pictures and actual room interior was not the same. Actual room interior was not updated like in the picture. It’s old and bathroom tile floor around toilet had some slime.
