SureStay Hotel by Best Western McAlester

Well lets start with the Lobby and parking lot. Gross. Trash everywhere and noticeable bugs and flies. Sticky wet oil dropped filled parking lot with trash all over the place. BUGS BUGS BUGS. I woke up everyday to new bugs. DONT STAY HERE. TERRIBLE!

I left and hopefully will have my money returned.

Room was clean, and comfortable. Adequate parking. Good restaurants close by

The staff was polite and helpful. The parking was safe and easy. The area was very close to things, but the overall room itself could use some cleaning. I did not expect it to be fancy for the price, but clean yes. The bedsheets were stained up, the shower and tub looked like they had not been cleaned and had mud splattered on it. The shower curtain was very dirty and old and needs to be replaced.

First room we were put was filthy and had dead bugs on the floor. Pulled back the sheet from the bed and it looked like someone had slept there and they didn’t change the bedding. Called front desk, told him the issues and he deep sighs on the phone, clearly annoyed, he said he would give us a different room. He didn’t even check to see if that room was clean. Lots of dead bugs, the bedding on both beds were worse than the first room. The air conditioner has an issue, it was loud and would turn and then off. Made a clanging noises. Pictures on Expedia misrepresent what condition this hotel is really in. We just left and went to another hotel. Lesson learned, read all reviews or stick to Hilton hotels. Oh and booking in the car at night, 17 miles away, choose the hotel at the top with a high rating, clearly they either rating themselves or using a bot. $85 dollar lesson learned.

Front desk attendant was nice Is was a dead roach in the dresser drawer,dead insect parts in the nightstand, shower walls and bathtub was dirty ,the linen has some stains,from now on I'm traveling more upscale and bringing my own comforter sets

It was really nice and clean. Room heater was loud other than that very nice

Staff was courteous. Room was comfortable. I was surprised how quiet is was by a busy highway. I didn't check the breakfast options when I booked. I would have liked some hot food options. The breakfast was OK.

PARKING WAS EASY. DID NOT EAT BREAKFAST
