Cedar Inn

The room was a nice size, clean comfortable beds and quiet.

I grew up in this town and never did stay in this hotel and now I'm back visiting and I stayed in this hotel and think it's just absolutely excellent The lady at the front desk is more friendly than the law allows so cordial in every way The rooms yeah they're old but they're kind of fixed up in there very nice and worth it The other hotels in town are outrageous this is a very good deal I highly recommend this motel and I don't usually like most motels The ice machine could have been made more available after lobby hours but I get it.

Dirty carpets, something making noises in walls, ceiling ( ?) our room was sandwich between long term tenants.

Filthy. Heater didn't work. Floor grungy. Coffee cups dirty. Mouse dropping in sheets. My wife slept in her clothes. Broken light switch by bed light. Cigarette hole burn in fitted sheet. Black gunk on pillow case. Water didn't get real hot. Couldn't use plastic wrapped cups they had something slimy on the wrap. Sugar packet is for coffee looked soiled and old.

It was quiet. It was cold in the room.

The staff was very friendly and the room was good value for the price. Easy to reserve and check in. The property looks a little run down. Some new paint would improve the overall appearance.

The existing heater was inadequate at -5. We realize this was unusual weather.

Hairs on the sheets and toilet. No USB outlet.

Private and quiet, off the main highway. No Semi sounds. Nothing.

Clean room and good TV. Recycle bins all over the place. Everything I needed.

Beds were a little bit broke down but still was comfortable for a good night's rest.

The owner was really nice

Ron, the owner and manager is nice and friendly. I enjoyed talking with him and listening to his story. He works hard, and is considerate of his patrons. There is a snack/drink machine. The motel is simple, clean, and quiet, at the end of town. McCook, is a very small town. Cedar inn name is not on the sign. But it is the only motel on the street, and has a large light up sign that says, "Motel". Not that hard to find. It can use a freshen up, brighter lights, paint job. Overall, i enjoyed my stay and would return.

Ron was helpful during check-in. Room was clean and cool, Ron turned the AC on before my arrival. I enjoyed the quietness of the room.
