Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Mebane

Our room was very clean, and my grandson said it was "very cozy". We also enjoyed the use of the pool one evening. My grandchildren loved it, and I loved the depths of the pool (3' on the shallow end and 4' on the "deep" end)....perfect for them! We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast as well! Over such a wonderful stay!!

Only one elevator was working at time of visit

Breakfast was great. Gym was great. Swimming pool was great. Hotel surroundings were great.

We had a couple of issues, the air conditioner was not working in the gym and one of two elevators was out of service. I would stay there again.

I loved having a spacious room to stay overnight with my family on a long road trip. It was great to have such a large bathroom and a little fridge for the kids. Our room seemed to have a massive ant problem, maybe in part because of the weather and time of year, though the room seemed pretty clean otherwise.

Lights were out in the elevator. Staff put flashlights hanging on the arm rails in the elevator. Sooo dark and unsafe. Isn’t this against code? Tv remote did not work properly. Plain Jane room. Defiantly NOT worth the $250 plus tax I paid for the room. Will not be using this hotel chain again!

Location was perfect. Many great places to eat. Cracker barrel right next door. A great comfortable spot.

There were sime technical challenges with new computer system but staff were really professional working through it!

Room was nice & clean beds ,soft No carts to load our suitcases . All bread breakfast, no meats or biscuits & gravy . Waken at 4:30am from a dog barking

My checkin was marred by the payment issue (see "didn't like" below) but many thanks and kudos to "Keosha" who was able to resolve the double-charge issue by contacting Booking.com herself and staying engaged to make sure I was satisfied. Otherwise, the stay was nice and close to where my son lives, so I will stay again. The downside to the checkin was that my reservation from Booking.com was not accepted by the property and I had to pay again out of pocket. This was not the fault of the property as they said they'd had issues with 3rd party payment, but nevertheless I was double-charged which took almost a month after the stay to resolve - however it was resolved thanks to the manager "Keosha" who was very helpful in getting it resolved - see "likes" above.

Fairfield Inn was great but when checking in they told me Expedia had overcharged me by $75. Got in touch with Expedia and they gave me a bunch of BS as to why they overcharged and would not refund me.

Room was clean. Staff were professional and courteous.
