We stayed for 5 nights with 2 adults and 2 kids. The first night we went to use pool and ran into some kids who said don’t get in pool there is too much chlorine it was making them cough and eyes burn. We were not in there for long and just standing there our eyes burned. The water was also cold. It was a little better the next day but not much. Our 3rd morning as we left I stopped at front desk to ask about having our dirty wet towels taken out and getting fresh ones, empty trash as it was full and some toilet paper. I said we don’t need a cleaning just those things. She took our room number. we returned that evening none of that had been done. My husband had to go ask for towels and trash bags which we were given the big trash bag. They again took our info to get our room taken care of the next day. Same thing happened again that night nothing done. I again told counter and she apologized. Gave me big trash bag again and said I can give you bonus points. She also said to have my kids take some snacks. We were disappointed. We didn’t expect a full cleaning any of those days. The shuttle to the mall was nice except it was 90 with no ac really but we were good with it as it helped with our trip. The drivers were very kind. The floor throughout the entire 4th floor was uneven and a little creepy same with elevator. Overall, it was a place to stay and served the purpose but I had some disappointed kids who didn’t to swim much and cleaning staff not not great

Everything was great breakfast was great pool and hot tub was great , beds were comfy only thing was the housekeeping did not clean the curtains they look like they were blood or chocolate left on them on both sides of the curtain also the TV did not work until staff came upstairs too fix it but overall everything was handled in proper timing and I definitely will come back besides those little things otherwise the hotel is great.

Cons: AC didn't work well in the room. Refrigerator was off (it's on a timer) so when we put a few things in it at 4 pm, including my husband's insulin, it didn't really get cold before we left at 4 am the next day Airplane noise, to be expected. But the "racing" around one or two am on either the interstate or the roads near the motel was not expected or appreciated . Not sure I'd stay here again, altho the staff was excellent.

We had someone steal a piece of clothing from us while enjoying the pool amenity

Our first room reeked of smoke (it’s a non smoking facility!). The front desk apologized and quickly moved us but housekeeping should have noticed that and the room not been assigned until properly cleaned to remedy the awful smell. Our next room also had a slight smell but the air just smelled stale. It wasn’t bad once we turned the air on. My husband realized the next morning it was mold in the bathroom! I noticed some wallpaper coming off while I was in the shower but he saw the mold. He did inform the front desk so not sure if anything will be done or not. The hotel overall was not the Marriott standards I’m use to. Things were just a little run down…mold and peeling wallpaper, chairs in breakfast area worn down, etc…It was all normal wear and tear stuff like you would have at your home but it could use some sprucing up for sure. And personally the music in the lobby area was quite loud for my taste. But that’s just personal preference. I would still recommend giving it a try and I hope they fix the mold issues in 111!

Exceptionally clean. Breakfast was pretty good. Staff was very friendly and great with my autistic son.

Had no record of my booking

I was surprised to learn they have a daily parking fee. I have only encountered this in deep inner city hotels with a parking garage. This was not mentioned prior to check-in and I felt it was uncalled for. Placement of the shampoo, body wash and conditioner was very inconvenient. The bathroom was very small. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful. Even though we asked for room service, it was not done the first day. However, the desk staff was very accommodating and apologetic.

Loved this property. Cookies at check in, good breakfast, nice rooms, close to MSP and MOA with shuttles to both.

We have stayed here many times in the last few years. We've moved from MN. eight years ago. Coming back for family gatherings, weddings, birthdays, and such things. Things have sure changed in MN. to my way of thinking not in a good way. Areas that used to be clean, nice, and safe are no longer. Three years ago we found this, Fairfield. They have everything we needed. Nice size rooms, airport shuttle, hot breakfast with good choices, pool, and most of all a clean safe place with very good people working there. They've been always friendly and helpful. Reasonable price and easy to work with. I'd recommend Fairfield to anyone wanting to be safe and comfortable place to stay.
