Super 8 by Wyndham Mesa Downtown Near Convention Center

I only stayed for one night. I checked in around 9pm and got my room key right away. The two biggest things I noticed was the shower was way too hot and no way to cool it down and the WIFI was extremely spotty and not a good connection for the most part. The shower worked in the morning with no issues and the AC was working extremely well, I woke up in the middle of the night freezing! I was happy that checkout was at 11am. I did not use any other amenities while staying here.

The price was reasonable, and it is summer that's why. I think it's bs that they jack up the price for the holidays or the ball games, ect ect. The location..Alot of hood rats in the area.

The room was spacious but had a very bad smell.

King room is ridiculously large for the price. Third stay and same great service.

The motel was comfortable and close to our destination in Phoenix. That was helpful. So was the parking helpful. Unfortunately, we did not have an opportunity to use the pool.

We rented two rooms. Beds in both rooms were very uncomfortable. In one room, the tub-faucet had a stead dribble of water and could not be stopped. For the tub shower, the lower faucet ran as well. Other than that, we had clean and safe rooms to stay in and the office staff all were excellent.

The front desk and staff was very nice. But the property did smell like smoke, which is understandable because there may be smoking rooms available somewhere. Other than that - no complaints!

Truly an abysmal stay. Nothing is what it was supposed to be. They're in the middle of a remodel so you would think they would be eager to help to make up for that, and they aren't. 1 out of 10, I will stay far away from this place in the future.

After my daughter and I arrived at the hotel, we went to get some food, came back to the hotel and police were just leaving. The place was very sketchy and my daughter and I did not feel safe. We went to the room, ate our dinner, and made reservations at a different hotel so we could get out of there. The lobby smelled like marijuana when I went in to check in and when we went to our room, the entire building smelled like marijuana. The beds were AWFUL, they were like a queen sized cot on a metal bed frame. They were very uncomfortable and we would not have slept a wink if we stayed. And on top of all of that, the pool was closed which was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel to begin with.

The room was clean They had extremely loud construction that they did not inform me of right by my room that would start at 5 am and not end until the afternoon, nobody was at the front desks while construction was happening and when I had to check out early for my flight they wouldn’t give me my deposit in cash because a manager wasn’t there so I had to go through a lot of trouble to get someone to get my cash deposit and send me the money on Venmo. Not a good area aswell a lady was going around asking for fent.
