Costa Norte Boutique Hotel

The fridge in our room was unplugged leaving water all over the floor. There was a used enema in the bathroom draw.. so disgusting. We were offered another room but they weren’t any better. Everything seemed dirty including the hallway and stair carpets that needed a really deep clean to remove all the stains and dirt. The manager was apologetic and sent the cleaning crew to our room in the morning but it really was an awful experience.

I felt safe and comfortable throughout my entire visit, which made it easy to relax and enjoy my stay. My stay here has been great, the staff is amazing and very attentive. If you need anything they will always try to accommodate you !! It is close by everything so very convenient too ! I would stay here again 🤗

I like that it was so close to the beach, and walking distance to everywhere i needed to go. The profile on booking.com says this property has parking, which is misleading. There is a public parking lot across the street that you can pay to park in but is not dedicated to this hotel and does not have security. Also there was no filtered drinking water anywhere on the property, which is unfortunate.

The lobby has a locking front door. So, if no staff is present, you’ll need to use a code to get in. Fortunately, there was someone at the front desk to let us in and check us in. Although, you can get checked in and get codes to front door and room door ahead of arrival. The room was small, but good for two people. It had a queen bed, a table with two chairs, a mini fridge with small freezer, a microwave, and a good size tv on the wall. Also, it was fresh and clean with tile floor throughout the room. The bathroom had a nice shower with piping hot water if you wanted it. You could use the hotel for a beach stay I suppose. It’s not on Collins Ave(which is beachfront), but one block over on Harding which is a quiet street. There is no pool, just a small private fenced in patio out front with tables and chairs. The beach is beautiful in that area and there are plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance. We were there just for the night and enjoyed our stay.
