I am not an “casino person”, so take this with a grain of salt. We stayed here because it was close to an event we attended. Walking in to check in and to our room was like walking through a giant ashtray. The room was ok and did not smell bad. The price for a no frills stay was high. The pool was not available and there is no breakfast. There is ample parking.

Had a good stay at Blue Chip Casino, Spa and Hotel. Check in and check out were easy.

At Rook’s the only place to get alcohol there the line was very long. Finally got to bar tender, older male with glasses, I said seems busy today. Must be the holiday. Bartender replied “it’s ridiculous people need to take a week off work for Fourth of July.” Next bar tender thought it was important to rudely correct my friend when she said a double shot to “just so you know we call them long pours”. I have worked a very long time to be able to take time from work and couldn’t have been more disappointed in my stay.

Had a great stay in the Spa Tower of the Blue Chip Casino Hotel while visiting Michigan City. Room was quite large and clean. Staff were friendly and prompt. Definitely would stay here again!

There was also a hidden fee of $68 for our stay.

que la piscina estuvo cerrada no hay perdon para eso

Dirty, smelly, rude staff, will never be back.

The staff was friendly and I’m sure they would have addressed the issue had we stayed longer.

Very friendly and helpful staff.

The room was clean, staff was very helpful and efficient. Plenty of free parking. I was there for a conference so no gambling fir me. Looks like everyone was enjoying themselves. The only thing that I didn't like was all the cigarette smoke. It came through the air vents in the meeting rooms and bedrooms. That was not good especially since I am a non-smoker.

Worst stay ever. Beds are horrible. Pillows are like sleeping on a rock. We had reserved a room with two queens for four people. Only had 3 towels. Called down for more but no one answered. Waited for at least 15 minutes on phone. Finally had to go to front desk. Brought towels up. The next morning we needed 4 showers. Only two had hot water. Would not stay here again. Only there as a stopping point on way to Traverse City. If all you care about is casino, just be aware of the above. If you are looking for good place to sleep, keep looking.

Make sure to get the room in a new tower. Those are recently remodeled and very nice and clean! Pool was out due to construction, which is a bummer, but I’m glad they’re remodeling more.

Great place to stay. The pool was out of service as they are still waiting on a part.

The coffee was awful. The coffee pot wasn't a kuerig. You couldn't go to the dollar store and buy coffee for this pot. It wasn't even a regular coffee pot. There was no Microwave in the room. Needs updated.
