Friendly and helpful staff.

If you are looking for a good hotel that alows dogs, I recommend it. Nothing special, nice pool and hot tub, easy access to the Lake area, and nice neighborhood to walk.

I stayed one night and was put in a stand alone row of rooms. Needs a major make over. Poor lighting, loud bathroom fan, No wall adapters to charge phones, very dated. Air conditioner was placed right between the two beds, which was noisy. Expected a better room for the money. Staff lady was very friendly.

Ac unit was not working and when the unit would start its cool cycle it sounded like a semi jake brake. Was told the rooms were all full so couldn’t switch to a different room. 80 degrees and humid all night no sleep.

Terrible mold smell. Couldn't stay in the room.

Good selection at breakfast, clean room, excellent beds, a/c worked great. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Only thing I missed was an exhaust fan in the bathroom.

Room smelled of cigarette smoke. Bathroom door did not close. Overall hotel is in poor repair.

The breakfast choices were nice, but a little more protein would have been nice - including having peanut butter. We were very surprised that wasn't available. The room was roomy and clean and I really enjoyed the bathroom faucet! So cute!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything in the hotel was easy to get to as well. Having peanut butter and eggs for breakfast would be great additions. I didn't like the fact that the different types of rooms were in different buildings and were not described that way. The first building we came to we thought was the hotel and it looked run-down and scary. We almost cancelled but then saw the actual hotel across the road and down a little further. That was the biggest issue we had (and no peanut butter)

It was conveniently located to places we were visiting.

Great little spot.. especially in the evening out back! There’s a couple fun neighbors too!! It was what we all needed to hang together.. We had 5 rooms for family, and it was super close to The Bend where we went to a wedding.. Even called a place that got us all to, and from our wedding celebration in 2 vans! Rooms were nice to, and staff were attentive to some needs! Umm maybe more chairs out back that are easy to get back out of.. Lol

The staff were all so nice

No hot water when they are doing laundry. You have to wait a half an hour after they finish laundry to have any hot water. Entry door faces west and gets hot in the sun and stops working. You have to block the sun for a while to cool off the lock so they key card works. Once inside, the dead bolt didn't work. The door still locked and there was still a chain. Inside surface of the door had two pieces of tape covering holes caused by...bullets? I don't know. The TV was a tiny monitor, 24 inches maybe, floating on the big bare wall. Humorous to look at, but not so fun to watch. But at least there was a remote - unlike in a friend's room in the same building. The room was reasonably clean and the staff was reasonably helpful in addressing our concerns. Not going to throw the staff under the bus. Ownership and management? Yeah, they are under it. We got the room for $105/night all in on Memorial Day weekend. In the Okoboji area, that's pretty cheap. Our expectations were low and the Rodeway Inn failed to meet them.

The staff were polite and helpful. The facility was clean and maintained.

The room we stayed in needs a deep cleaning.
