Quality Inn & Suites Minot North

After advertising that cancellations were free, they refused to refund my money a whole week prior to our reservation. My husband was hospitalized so was unable to travel, but I am sure they booked our room for someone else and got paid double. I will NEVER EVER BOOK THROUGH YOU AGAIN!

Overall, a good stay. The breakfast spread was good. However, you cannot open any of the windows. No fan in the bathroom. You have to pay $1 to get key access to the laundry, which has 1 washer and 1 dryer for ALL hotel guests. Have to pay $1 for use of the dryer. I had to sit in the laundry room to make sure I could get my laundry done. There were 5 people who wanted to do laundry after me, and one person sat with me to confirm they would be next. Had to laugh when I saw the shower gel above the toilet, nowhere near the shower. I would stay there again.

Nice quiet place to stay. Breakfast was good. My phone didn’t like the wifi at hotel! Lol

I got in close to midnight and was greeted by a friendly woman at reception. Breakfast was great and started early enough for travelers. The room was clean and had everything I needed.

It's overall a good place to stay. I'm disappointed with both booking.com and Quality Inn. I made a mistake and booked the room for the night before I needed it. Everyone got paid for a room that wasn't used. I asked about a credit and got bot answers from both saying to contact the other. But OK, my bad. I travel to Minot often, and there are other choices in the future. Now for the "King Suite". We paid $25 extra for the king suite, because we needed more room. It is not 495 sq ft as advertised. The king bed takes up most of the cramped room. I'm OK, just disappointed overall.

Room clean and beds comfortable We came in late at 8:30pm. Tried to shower but no hot water. Staff told me it was a busy time and I had to wait 2 hours for hot water. I got hot water at 10:40pm.

For dislikes, there was a pothole in the parking lot which appeared to have formed recently.

Wasn't that bad for one night to catch a flight at the airport.

Rooms weren't bad, clean and crisp, staff was friendly and breakfast was alright - they had some omelet with peppers, sausage, eggs and potatoes of course the cook your own waffles, cereal, muffins, bagels, bread and juice.

The staff was friendly When we first arrived a man was at the desk asking for clean bedding there was something on his bedding. The first room they put us in smelled bad and my sister went to use the bathroom and the toilet was full of poop and toilet paper we tried to flush it and it filled up did not go down the room they moved us to had the bedding stripped off one of the beds and it was lying on the floor so they moved us to a third room and sent the lady at the desk to check to make sure it was clean before they put us in there she came back and said all it needed was towls, they gave us towls and we went to the room. In the morning my sister went to take a shower and there was old soap that was very thin sitting in the shower and dirt on the shower walls. We reached out to booking for a refund they reached out to the facility asked for a refund the facility was not going to do that I paid about 152 dollars for one night and not one but three dirty rooms. I dont usually make a bad review the staff was polite and tried to get us a new room I just feel like if they would have even tried to accommodate for three dirty rooms I wouldn't even be typing this. Oh and the light above the microwave was flickering and we just shut it off.
