Fairfield Inn by Marriott Mission Viejo / Orange County

The sheets here are some of the worst I have ever slept in. It got to the point where I ended up, going to store and buying a top sheets so that we didn’t have to feel the ones that were provided. They were the thickest, most unbreathable, scratchiest, midwest uncomfortable sheets/pillowcases I have ever felt in my entire life. The place did what we needed to, but we most likely will not be back

Convenient location just off the 5.

Room was super quiet. Clean and air conditioner was amazing!! Breakfast was delicious and had excellent variety of food. Coffee was tasty! Front desk staff were engaging and very helpful.

There are only two things that I feel Fairfield can improve on when serving their guests. First the guest service agent that checked us in did not seem to like her job. She seemed uninterested in serving us, did not greet us with a smile and acted like we were bothering her. Her body language was, I checked you in and here's the keys to your room now just go. The second thing the hotel can improve on is in the swimming pool area their were a lot of parents of soccer team kids with glass bottles. This is not good for the guests or the hotel. Even though their is a sign prohibiting it, it was not being enforced. My wife and I look forward to staying at the Fairfield in the future.

They allowed us to check in early which was a positive. However, within the first five minutes my husband got locked in the bathroom of our hotel room and he hadn’t even locked the door. I ran down to the front desk and told them and that they needed to get someone up there right away because we had a wedding to get to. They seemed a bit bothered that I interrupted a conversation the employees were having. They said they would send maintenance up. Maintenance probably came up about five minutes later. Not bad for wait time. However his key to the bathroom didn’t work so then he had to go back out and retrieve a new door know. My husband couldn’t get out until the door knob came off. And He put the door knob on backwards so he had to start all over again. While doing this my husband had to change his clothes in the same room as we had a time crunch. The next day I asked if they could comp the 15$ parking charge because of the bathroom issue and she didn’t even see any notes about the situation at all. However they did wave that charge. (Not that I was asking for much) But I do feel like they could should show a bit more concern and sense of urgency. My husband has claustrophobia so it wasn’t a pleasant experience for him. I also don’t understand how it has such a high rating with how loud it is in the rooms. We thought someone left the window open. It literally sounded like we were on the freeway.

Was clean and all went well and to be expected.

Great quiet hotel right off the 5 freeway.

The room was a bit small but clean. Breakfast was very good. They staff was nice.

Breakfast was good and well stocked. The carpet in the room needed a thorough vacuuming.

Great hotel. Loved they had complimentary breakfast. Would stay there again.

I cannot for the life of me understand how Fairfield can charge outrageous fees for parking. They offer nothing but a parking space. Won't be booking with Fairfield again.

Need healthier choices

The room was clean and spacious. There was free WiFi but parking was $15 a day. Front desk staff were super friendly and helpful.

Everything was excellent.. They have good breakfast. The room was clean. There is a pool if you want to swim. They are pet friendly too.

Good breakfast. One thing I didn`t like was that the light in the bathroom kept goming off while I was taking a shower. To me that is a safety hazard. If someone slipped and fell that would be a liability on the hotel.

I was charged $50 for incidentals and I don’t know what that would’ve been. There was nothing in the in the room or the hotel that would have cost me any money so now I have to wait for my $50 to be returned to my account and what wait another week to get my money back in my account!
