I had to get onto the front desk because our checkout wasn’t until 11 AM but the Housemade knocked on our door at 8 AM

I visited family in San Juan Capistrano last weekend, and I’m glad I chose the Fairfield hotel, as it was conveniently located for my trip. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very attentive. The complimentary breakfast was a great bonus. The rates for that weekend were much better than those of other hotels in the area. I will definitely stay here again.

THERE IS A $15 PER DAY PARKING FEE that I do not recall seeing (nor could I find on Expedia's ad) so that was a bit of a surprise when we checked out. Other than that, the hotel was comfortable and the staff are very pleasant and helpful.

Location was fine Toiletries in our room were low or empty from the first day and when our room was “refreshed” by housekeeping, our door was left ajar. We arrived back to the hotel after being gone all day to discover our door open. I alerted the front desk and asked how long it had been left open. She could not give me an answer and did not seem as concerned that our door was left ajar with our items in the room. Not exactly great customer service. We were going to extend our stay but decided to switch hotels.

Room itself was clean and neat upon arrival, but obviously things unraveled a bit over the course of our stay due to lack of housekeeping.

The room was nice.

It was clean and quiet. Staff was pleasant. Location is great! The breakfast was pretty good. The pay for parking is stupid expensive!!! They glued the shower door closest to the handle shut so you had to make sure you take your clothes off first before turning the water on haha

It’s a good place to stayed near to wood cove beach, recommend

Hotel is located right behind 2 gas stations, hard to get to. Check in staff was not helpful. We made reservations through Expedia and they told me that they couldn’t print me a receipt at checkout. However they emailed a copy of my room rate charges to my daughter-in-laws email account and never to me!! There was confusion on checking in they had trouble figuring out that our reservations were separate and on different days. Not sure I would stay there again.

I got into my room late and went to take shower at 9 pm and discovered a used sanitary napkin stuffed behind the shampoo bottle. When I reported it to the front desk, there was no apology or recognition of how truly disgusting this was. I also spoke to the front desk in the morning and again, no apology or attempt to address this. DO NOT STAY HERE!!
