Motel 6 Modesto CA

What a horrible experience with Motel6, I paid online and when I got there It wasn’t there, than I had to pay again since it was the only hotel that had a room available. When I got to the room #229 I knocked out, when I woke up to use the restroom, it was horrible, insects, flies, cockroaches, holes around the wall, the bath was dirty, and the towels weren’t fully white washed, I left right away and took a shower in another hotel, since I was traveling.

I just wanted to make sure it was known how dirty this location was. I booked a double bed non smoking room and the first room I was given had a bag covering the smoke detector and smelled like marijuana. The bed sheets were stained and there were holes burnt in the bedding caused by some kind of lit cigarette or something. I later found that the door on that room didn’t latch whatsoever. The next room I had was better but still had holes in the bedding, the pillows had no pillowcases, and the lights took almost 30 seconds to turn on after flipping the switch. Also the freezer compartment of the fridge was missing. The room wasn’t swept and the trash cans were covered in some kind of dried liquid. Along with all of that the room was infested with cockroaches. When I told the front desk they acted like they already knew and didn’t care whatsoever. During my stay I also had issues with my key card “disconnecting” so I had to have it rekeyed twice in 5 nights.

Disgusting!! Dangerous!! The list is endless. Recommending total closure of location! Going to report to corporate!!

Too closed to the freeway

Nothing No phone that worked,no remote control,pee in the toilet,I arrived at 1am wanted to watch TV and go to sleep, was undressed couldn't call front desk no phone to get remote

Room was ok, beds were comfortable. Not enough towels and the ones we had were in bad shape, frayed edges, stains. No washcloths at all. We requested more but never got any.

Nothing. Rude front desk staff. Filthy room, door not secure properly. Could not stay there! Very unsafe.

Terrible place

They actually booked me and let me stay there, unlike the needham location which lied and said they were out of rooms when they weren’t, as they rented two to another woman 5 minutes later, because I’m transgender. i booked this stay on the app though so they didn’t know that lack of coffee maker or other appliances and coffee or other amenities in the room

The staff was cool Roaches druggies and no towels

The front desk agent checking out was super cute Had an odd Oder and people were loud all night. The water literally took 10minutes to heat up Definitely could have out me on the second floor instead of the children on the top floor
