Suburban Studios Montpelier

On the upside, the pool was large, nice and warm, and there is a hot tub!

Clean room, clean pool at good warm but not hot temperature, friendly helpful staff, good included breakfast with hot food

This will be a no for us to return

Suburban Studios is my preferred place to stay in Holiday City, Ohio. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very good. And when I left my phone in the room, they held it for me at the front desk.

It is advertised as having a free breakfast. That is one reason I picked that hotel. And there wasn't any breakfast at all. We had to spend extra money on going out to breakfast. If your not going to do the breakfast then don't advertise it.

The pool could have opened earlier. Some people work out before breakfast. I had to do laps in the atrium since it was raining

The rooms on the back side of the hotel do not have exterior windows so no natural light. If I had known that I would have asked for a room on the front of the building. The room was fine although missing some ammenities typically found in hotel rooms inculding a box of tissues and conditioner. Unfortunately there was NO hot water so forced to take a cold shower. I would have reported it at check out but there was no one at the desk. I will not stay here again.

The cleanliness of the room, the space, the kitchen and the location Sometimes, we could hear the noise from the room when there were some activities going on in the lobby or the open space. That is the only complaint I have about this place

Pool, Hot tub and Sauna. Easy access location from the highway.

The rooms are a little strange in this hotel, they all face into a center ballroom area and they have no windows to the outside. They are nice size efficiencies. Breakfast is your average hotel hot breakfast.

Breakfast is the normal scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, mini muffins, etc. One thing I’ll never understand though is why does every hotel serve frozen butter?! It’s very difficult to spread frozen butter on anything!

It’s a strange setup. It’s two hotels in one and the part we stayed at was different.

Very nice! The food in the restaurant was very tasty. The breakfast buffet was the usual sausage patties, eggs, waffles, etc. Nothing to write home about but decent. The room was clean & the bed was comfortable. Because the rest of the room was so nice, it was odd that the desk chair was in such a dilapidated condition, the shower head was a bit rusty & the towels were minimal & not very soft. But… would definitely stay here again!

I booked a kingbed, but assigned two small beds

Very spacious. Big refrigerator and nice kitchenette area .

The room was big with a sofa and small kitchen.
