Inn At Moss Landing Point

We had a wonderful stay.

But the highlight of staying here was that every staff member at the front desk was so friendly and aimed to make our stay feel home. They provided free warm popcorn at night delivered to your room if you wanted. They took an interest in our day trips and what we were experiencing. And we loved that we were this close to Moss Landing for whale watching!

We didn’t know it’s right next to a cemetery. It’s next to the freeway but noise is not that bad. Bedding feels like not completely dry.

Our stay was very comfortable. I look forward to the time when local restaurants will open in the area.

It was SUPER clean! I loved the lil shop and lobby area with such convenient items. Noise and view wasn’t great due to location but they make up for it with their kind cleanness.

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn at Moss Landing Point. The hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming. We especially loved the fresh popcorn delivered to our room at the end of the day, such a thoughtful touch! There is a little highway noise, but it didn’t take away from our stay. Moss Landing is a very cool little coastal area and a great location for exploring Monterey. We would absolutely stay here again!

Overall this was an amazing find and a great place to stay in a quaint little town. It felt like something out of a movie. The only downside was that freeway noise was quite loud at times. Even with a sound machine and ear plugs, it was noticeable. They even provide ear plugs which was our first clue that it could be loud. I am a bit of a light sleeper though. My kids didn’t have a problem with it nor did my husband. Just something to be aware of when booking. Other than that though, it was so clean, friendly staff and super cute.

The hotel itself was clean, the staff welcoming. It’s right on rt 1, so you can hear all of the car traffic the entire day and night. Yes, they give ear plugs and a noise machine. I traveled with my 6 year old so we already had a noise machine with us. The traffic noise still woke us up throughout the night. For the cost of the room, I’d expect the tv to have service, the coffee machine (that makes coffee, cappuccinos, americanos, espresso, hot chocolate, etc) to have milk and not just the little cups of creamer, and some form of breakfast (pastries from a local bakery, instant oatmeal, fruit I feel is bare minimum). It worked for what we needed, but I probably won’t go back.

Clean, nicely maintained hotel. Staff is friendly. Coffee machine is awesome. The only reason I did not rate 5 stars is it is located right next to the highway.

It was a really spacious, modern, clean room. Bonus mini kitchenette! The property is literally feet from Hwy 1. Definitely road noise, but that doesn't bother me personally. A hot tub on property would be a bonus, but oh well. The self-checkout "store" in the lobby was well stocked, and it was a nice feature to have 24/7 access to free coffee drinks. Lots of smartphone-based interfacing with the customer. That made things easy for us, BUT--I wonder if that could be too confusing for old school guests.
