Enjoying & Relaxing...Had So Much Fun

Nice place to stay. Very close to I-35.

Rooms were nice and large.

I stayed at the AmericInn for three hot nights in July. We had a one bedroom suite with a sitting area, and soon discovered there was no central air conditioning, just a window unit that didn't ventilate the sitting area where one of the guests were sleeping. And the sofa bed had trash and debris under the mattress. So initially we were dissatisfied, but the staff acted quickly to resolve our issues, cleaning the sofa bed debris and making that bed and bringing a fan for air circulation in the sitting room. Otherwise, the room was fine, beds were comfortable, and the free breakfast was decent.

The only problem i had was that the bed was kinda to hard for me and the pillows were very flat also the whirlpool in my room was not working working properly the jets were barely jetting

breakfast offered had options and very good. Overall cleanliness was good. had no issues.

The hot tub was nice, the food was great and overall it was good. However there were somethings that weren't working and some things that were not up to par. Overall however it was a good experience for me and my significant other

We were traveling to this area for a bowling tournament. The staff here at the hotel was super friendly and helpful. They navigated the amount of children/teens present very well. The rooms were very clean. Maintenance was onsite daily. The pool and spa area was clean and maintained well. Breakfast was good for a complementary meal. Will definitely consider staying again if ever in the area.

Otherwise, all was fine. The AC worked great so even with the light I got some sleep. My wife had a hard time falling asleep however.

We upgrade our room as this was an emergency back up booking due to full occupancy at original location booked. Front desk was quick to help and explained the booking results from Expedia. Upgraded room had a jet tub my kids enjoyed. Room is spacious so we are able to add a roll away. Room is very clean and AC worked well. Breakfast was meeting our needs and parking is super easy.

Room was clean and organized, breakfast had some pretty good options, staff was kind and helpful.

In my opinion, the hotel could improve several things. They do not provide complimentary bottled water, they only offer small shampoo bottles instead of wall-mounted dispensers, the refrigerator in the room did not work, and there was no “Do Not Disturb” sign for the door. These may seem like small details, but they can make a big difference in a guest’s overall experience.

This is an average hotel nothing too fancy however love having the bowling alley and restaurant attached so fun! Also the staff was awesome and the breakfast was good.

Hot tub was broken until the last day there.

Clean bedding!! Clean shower as well. Only thing was the stopper for the bathtub was completely loose. Arcade and restaurant was excellent.

The front desk lady was extremely helpful. I had to ask for assistance with the jets in the hot tub (Their is no sign, plenty of signs for emergency shut off all area, the proper button) she, was so kind in explaining what to do. The Mermaid has always been a local hotel to my family, happy to see the staff are just as welcoming.
