The Quality Inn & Suites hotel is located in what the locals call the Golden Triangle, seated in Mount Dora, near Eustis and Tavares, Florida. This is a lake front hotel with a view of Lake Woodward and have two lake side gazebos. This hotel is also minutes from a chain of lakes which include Lake Dora and Lake Harris. The beds are horrible; both my friend and I woke up and could barely walk. The mattresses are old and worn out. My friend's mattress actually had a dip to the point that she was feeling like the mattress was closing in on her. My friend ended up going to the ER due to her muscles being tweaked by the horrible condition of the mattress. The staff is extremely rude when it comes to getting fresh towels, although we gave them our used towels, the one staff yelled at us that he wanted the dirty towels first. We have stayed at this property several times and have overlooked these things because it is extremely convenient to where we are going when in Mount Dora, however this will be our last time staying there. The bathroom needs to be redone; the same penny has been in the crease of the bathroom wall and floor for 6 months. The same blood stain has been on the door for six months. The duvets need to be replaced, full of burn holes and stains. Found several dead roaches. Just worst stay of the 5 times we've stayed here, we will not be making it six times!

Location and value. Had problems with the door locking me out of the room and did not have a do not disturb door hanger. The door lock situation was fixed however I asked 2 different staff members for a door hanger and never received one.

We tried to check into our room and couldn’t open the door. Went back to desk to get another key. Tried that one which didn’t work. Someone loudly announced the room was occupied. They supposedly upgraded us to a larger room. The roomy was musty and smelled like stale smoke. The whole property needs to be upgraded. We go to the area often but will not be staying there again

The room was comfortable and clean. No loud noises. TV remote did not work. Breakfast choices meager but the coffee was good.

Room was decent. Staff was terrible. Cleaners did not replace towels one day with clean towels. Had to get clean towels from the office. Breakfast area was not kept up. Had to tell desk that there were no spoons, no burritos and no milk one morning for breakfast. Downstairs ice machine was broken and no attempt was made to fix it. If you wanted ice you had to go to 2nd floor. The shampoo and conditioner in the shower were both empty when I took my first shower. The people working at this Quality Inn need to be fired. Their performance is a disgrace to the Quality Inn chain. Also the room cleaners did not empty trash cans or make the beds daily.

It was clean and nice I was given the wrong room, was supposed to have 2 beds and was only given one that I shared with my daughter because we arrived late

Nothing Old, filthy. Smelled like a nursing home in the lobby. My “non-smoking” room smelled like a throwback cocktail lounge from the 80’s…
