Room was very dirty, chairs with nasty stains, musty smell. Made repeated requests to get clean towels.

The warm chocolate chip cookies, free bottles of water, the friendliness of your staff, the cleanliness of my room and bathroom, and that breakfast was included. My experience was a good one. There's nothing I didn't like.

Room ok, bed ok, pillows great, air conditioning worked. Peeling paint on ceiling, dust inside cabinet that housed the microwave otherwise room was clean. Breakfast was ok except gravy for biscuits was tasteless. Wasn’t given the WiFi password on check in…had to call back down and ask for it. I would say this was a middle of the road hotel, not the best I have ever stayed in, but certainly not the worst. Thank you.

Pass through regularly and didn't think to stop in Mt. Vernon. This was an excellent stay and most importantly there was a real breakfast, real bacon, real eggs - best breakfast offered by a hotel in a while.

Hotel room was nice. Restaurant wasn’t very good

Breakfast was good, the hotel was pretty much what you’d expect. The beds were comfortable with four pillows a piece and the bathrooms were roomy.

Next to the elevator should be discounted, the elevator is super loud and runs all night, it sounds like thunder , staff was not very accommodating

Bathroom could have been a little cleaner. There was a lot of soap scum build up in the shower. Someone's contact lens on the bathroom floor (I don't wear contacts). Lots of stains on carpet.

Great hotel and pool/hot tub

The hotel staff were very friendly. Clean rooms, pool and restaurant. The pool should have it mandatory for an adult to be with kids under 16 or so. We had to leave the pool 2 of the nights because kids were so rowdy in and outside of the pool. We didn't feel like our children were safe in the water with them acting like they were. I felt like we were babysitting other people's children.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and roomy. Included breakfast was a real plus, better than most.

Another frustration was the housekeeping schedule. We were not informed at check-in that housekeeping only services rooms every four days. Since our stay was four days long, our room was never cleaned during our visit. We found ourselves having to empty our own garbage and repeatedly request clean towels. Had we known this policy ahead of time, we could have planned accordingly. While I understand that some hotels have reduced housekeeping services, this should be clearly communicated at check-in. More importantly, guests should expect to arrive to a room that has been thoroughly cleaned and maintained. The lack of cleanliness throughout the room significantly impacted our overall experience.
