Residence Inn by Marriott Naples

Location. The breakfast was a lot better than your average US hotel breakfast. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing stay, particularly because we had stayed at this property around 10 years ago and had a genuinely positive experience. The room had multiple maintenance issues that should have been identified and addressed before a guest checked in. The air conditioning was excessively noisy, the dishwasher was heavily rusted, several drawers opened by themselves, and the sofa cushions repeatedly slid out when sitting down. We also experienced brownish/discoloured water in the bathtub and an issue with the sink. Housekeeping was also not to an acceptable standard. During our 7-night stay, the room was not properly cleaned. Towels were replaced twice and a bar of soap was left once, but we had to request additional shower gel. On the final day, at around 2pm, a cleaner attempted to enter the room while we were having a siesta. We had specifically requested a top-floor room approximately six months before arrival and reminded the hotel again two days before check-in. Despite this, we were allocated a middle-floor room directly next to the laundry room. The repeated slamming of the laundry-room door was noticeable, particularly during the afternoons. The hotel staff spoke proudly about the refurbishment when we arrived, which made the condition of the room particularly disappointing. While I cannot comment on exactly what work was included in the refurbishment, several items that appeared newer or replaced were themselves poorly maintained. We chose to return to this property because of our previous positive experience. Unfortunately, the standard we experienced this time was significantly below what we expected from a Marriott property. Overall, the combination of maintenance problems, inadequate housekeeping and the failure to accommodate a long-standing room request made this a disappointing stay.

Super bueno el hotel muy calido todo limpio

The room was very clean, the hot breakfast was delicious, and the service at the front desk was amazing. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The manager was also incredibly kind and upgraded us to a larger room at no additional charge, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

This is my 3rd time booking at the Residence by Marriott. I love the hotel. It is my favorite. The lady with blond hair on August 1, whom I don’t remember at night during my check-in, was very friendly. She was awesome.

Our staycation was going great until I decided to take a shower. I got in the shower and immediately fell back out of the shower because there was no slip pan in the shower.
