Green Valley Lodge

I would have given three stars, but the staff he is non-existent. No one in the office all weekend (Friday, Saturday or Sunday). No housekeeping. No anyone except the guests who all had complaints (no way to get more than two very small bath towels, toilet paper, soap [micro bars good for one shower], an extra key, or any assistance). I wanted to leave one day early, but couldn’t reach anyone and they charged me anyway even though we were the last guests there on a Sunday morning. One couple accidentally locked themselves out of their room and couldn’t get back in for over an hour and only then by calling some emergency phone number to get a lockbox code. Overall the room is basic and fine for a place to sleep, but not for a family. There are no frills or amenities other than a baby fridge and a microwave. It shows its age and that age is old.

The room was clean and maintained. The owners left a number to call for checking in, while I stood outside in the sun. The property looked rough, it had poison ivy growing out onto the parking lot.

Close to Nashville Mold in the air conditioner and toilets that don't flush. It doesn't look anything like it shows online in person. Don't let the photos deceive you. We had to change rooms twice because of problems.

We like the price of a stay here. It is also convenient short drive into the heart of Nashville. The rooms are comfortable and good size for a hotel room. The door to the room had some issues with the lock sticking. The key was hard to turn but other than that it was good.

Jerry at the desk was friendly. Secure area. Room was clean enough. A little outdated. Bushes on backside need trimmed.

The guy at the front desk was very nice. The first room smelled like mildew so we switched rooms & instead of getting a queen size bed , they gave us a double. The toilet was dirty & there was a dead roach on the floor in the bathroom when we checked in. Very dirty !! All the rooms have a horrible mildew smell .

Superb

The room waa relatively clean. The shower was nice. However, it is a dated hotel that needs some TLC. The room smelled musty. The curtains didn't work properly. The price should have been lower for the quality and amenities.

This room definitely served the purpose that I rented it for. We came into town for the big drag race at brown county drag way. The positives are that it was clean and bug free. The negatives are that the shower leaked water onto the floor, there was no coffee pot in the room, and it was small. (Small didn’t really bother me). If you’re looking for a bed and a shower then this is for u. If you are needing something that you’ll be spending a little time in, this probably isn’t it.

Good vaule Outside grounds need attention

Our tv kept stopping,there was no coffee pot,and our electricity went off the last day we were there and we got ready in the dark showers in the dark. Room was clean but staff was not on site no bodyvto check us in or out.

I never got to go to the room. I attended my brother's graduation from IU. I wasn't able to check in before the 8:00pm graduation ceremony. So after a bite to eat after he graduated, my wife and I got to the lodge. It was late, so no one was in the office. But there was a phone number to call. I called it. A man answered and said that he would be down shortly to get us our room key. I waited about 15-20 minutes and no one came. I called again. He answered saying that he would be right there. Another 15-20 minutes passed and then he called me. He asked me where I was. I told him I was by the lobby/office. He asked which property. I told him Green Valley Lodge. He told me that he wasn't by that property and that he would have to call someone else. I waited another 30 minutes or so. Then I called the number again. This time no one answered. So my wife and I left. My mom was the one that booked the room for us under her hotel account so her credit card got charged. She called the lodge a few days later and talked to the manager, explained what happened. The guy told her that he would speak to the owner. She called the next day and the manager said that the owner said that I was never in the lobby and that he would not refund the money. I have screen shots of the 4 phone calls I made to the number left on the door of the lobby office. We are refuting the charge with our credit card company. Do NOT book with this property. TERRIBLE!!!

Location close to our destination Bed was comfortable. Definitely dated.

The motel was definitely dated.. It stopped in time.. It was clean. the housekeeper did a great job in cleaning the old carpet and the bathroom. Setting was good location for Nashville and Bloomington. The bed was comfortable. It’s a good place to stay if you’re staying for just a short time and spending a lot of time in the room..
