Also the sink vanity was very low. Had to bend in 1/2 to brush my teeth. I really like the Retro 1970’s look of the hotel. Older classy

It smelled as soon as you walked in the lobby. The room was very dated and smelled like strong mildew. There was black mold on the ceiling. The shower did not work. We left early.

Huge mold spots in our bathroom. Will not be back. Front desk lady was nice. Told us we would have to go up 16 straight which wasn’t a big deal but our key didn’t work in the door so we had to go back down and to another door. Again not a big deal but the mold sealed the deal. We enjoyed the restaurant downstairs and would gladly return for that. When we looked online we thought there was a pool but unfortunately there was not. Air so dry in the room I woke up with a major nose bleed which is not a common thing for me, I haven’t had one in years. Overall very disappointed. Someone local mentioned they recently renovated so maybe that was on the other side that we weren’t on? My boss pays for the stay as I travel for work and wanted me to request a refund but I was in such a hurry they lucked out. The mold needs addressed immediately.

Need grab bars in bathroom by toilet

I was asleep when someone tried to enter my room with a room key. I was very upset by this. I confronted the person trying to enter and he said the front desk had just given him a key for my room.

Nice location and great property surrounding. The location had an odd smell in the hallway and I’m thinking they may have just painted the walls which may need some ventilation. The room was clean and the outdoor lanai was nice. The ac blower was extremely loud and we had to turn it off to sleep. Disappointed that the restaurant/bar area is only open on specific days. There was a fantastic whisky distillery/restaurant about 2 minutes away by car. The Brown County Music Center is right down the road. A decently priced place in a small town.

Needs a little update, but clean and great location. Staff were nice.

Bar staff/restaurant food was amazing. Shuttle service to the music center was fantastic. We will be back but requesting the newer side.

Very out dated! No microwave or refrigerator! No Kleenex in on the wall box. Just needs updates

Location is decent. Bar was great! Staff was great. Construction going on I think it’s remodeling. Had a bad odor like mildew. Other than that smell it was pretty good. Would go back and stay again though I would ask about the smell

The property was very clean and very nice inside the hotel. Everybody was very helpful. I did enjoy the restaurant they had inside. The food was really good! Thy had a really nice bar to sit at! The only thing I didn't like is that they fid not have complimentary breakfast in the morning.

The staff is great and friendly but this is just a basic motel. Nothing flashy here. Lost in the 50’s.

But that’s just the quirks of a small tourist town.

One of the best places to stay in BC!

When we went into our room the smell of mold smacked you in the face. You look up and see why you smell it. Its on the ceiling. My husband went to the front desk and they moved us to a different room. Smell was better when you got in the room. There was mold on the wall from something? I was walking outside in some rocks in the parkong lot, the lady at the front desk flipped out and said they had a strict policy against walking in the rocks? It seems to me that they really don't care about the people that stay at the hotel because when it's time to eat there is no parking for us when the restaurant opens... Very sad they don't make a parking lot for just the restaurant patrons. They parking lot had just been sealed. Must not have had time to set because a huge chunk of it left with me on my tire! Overall it was an expensive place to sleep and shower. Would not recommend until they get the leaks fixed and the black mold gone.

Website infers that a pool was available but not true. Maybe in former days Should update pix.

Food was good. Room was clean

Staff were great. Can’t emphasize that enough! The facility was so so. A few little things were on the cheap side. Corporate needs to spring for a few more boxes of Kleenex, coffee stirrers, that kind of thing.

This is the perfect location to attend concerts at the Brown County Music Center. Great rooms that are clean.
