Large clean rooms and helpful staff

We arrived after 8:00 when the check in desk was closed, and the staff was wonderful about letting us know where to find our keys and how to get to our room.

Note, there is no elevator, so plan accordingly.

Beautiful old home with about 16 guest rooms and a restaurant that are very comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Check in went smoothly and the GM was very kind, even offering us home baked cookies right from the oven. Getting to our room required two flights of stairs which we were fine with but be aware that there was no elevator. The room was nice, cooled with a window unit which was a little loud but we got used to it. The tv used Roku but we were unable to stream the local news because the WiFi was so bad. It was also bad when doing anything on our telephones. Breakfast was served from 8-10 am and we arrived around 8:30. Breakfast consisted of bread for toasting, scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage patty, biscuits and a milk gravy and a fruit bowl. The waffle iron was out of order. Juices, coffee, water and tea bags for beverages. It was all self serve and adequate but the staff were not quick to refill or refresh the food and I heard two people have to ask for more biscuits. Check out was uneventful as we were told to just return room keys into a small tray if no one was at the desk which we did.

This a a beautiful historic hotel in downtown Natchez. It is very convenient to downtown shopping, dining, and entertainment. We walked everywhere we went including on a guided ghost tour. The building retains its charm with tall ceilings, elaborate woodwork, and antique furniture. I only wish I would have had time to enjoy sitting out on the lovely veranda.

Super cute Bed & Breakfast. Staff was super nice. It was a little difficult getting in touch, called a few times with no answer before talking to someone. But it's a B & B not a hotel with 24 hr staff, so understandable. Room was very nice. Loved looking at all of the pictures and historic features. Breakfast was just ok. We got there later in the Breakfast time, so the food was left to be desired. Sausage patties in water, grits were dried out, fresh fruit was delicious! Be sure to visit all of the little shops around town!

The property was beautiful. My room was gorgeous. I absolutely LOVED the antebellum porch to sit on and have beverage. I only had one problem, and it's kind of a big one. I had no hot water in the bathroom. I rode thru a tropical storm on my motorcycle to get there, normally in the south in June I would be welcome for a cold shower, however, I was cold, and wanted a warm shower, no hot water. The staff was as helpful as could be. The maintenance man came up and immediately did his best and restored hot water. My 2nd day I was able to have a warm shower, but yet, the early morning I need to get up shower and ride home, no hot water again. I am old, and cold water running over my body and old bones is NOT welcome and makes me hurt. If it wasn't for the hot water issue, I would have absolutely LOVED this stay and would go back, but I don't want to spend $400 for 2 nights and not be able to take a warm shower, wash my face with warm water. That was disappointing for the price I paid. Not on the staff at all, they did the best they could do, but when the staff knows this bathroom is an issue, and the owner has not repaired it, that's a problem for me.

My room was large and absolutely beautiful. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was made-to-order and delicious! This was my first time to stay at The Guest House, but it won't be my last!!
