Dirty, ripped chair, scuffed up walls

The hotel was located near wonderful restaurants and shops. Easily accessible to the interstate. Everything was fine.

When we arrived, the king suite we reserved was not available. Since there were three of us, they gave us two adjoining rooms which was fine. However, upon entering the rooms one smelled like the hall of an old casino hotel and the other smelled like someone had just finished a cigarette in there. Im not sure how they didnt notice that in a non smoking hotel. Was it housekeeping who did it? It was really bad. They switched our rooms and they smelled good and were clean. Im just not sure how they didn't know about the smoke except for a lack of conscientiousness on the part of the staff. The hall carpet was disgusting, also reminiscent of a cheap old Vegas casino. The breakfast was not great. Two warm dishes, those weird little omelletes and some sausage, a bowl of whole apples, some cereal, some bread for toast, and a waffle machine which they didnt refill the batter for. Very spare. I do not recommend this hotel. Its not as good as the reviews say.

Clean, and close to Louisville. Staff was friendly Someone tried to open the door to my room at 8am on Sunday September 20th. Once they realized someone was in the room they left, but its concerning if this is a housekeeping issue or security issue. I told the front desk, but would like reassurance this was addressed.

Just in a great location easy access to the highway

Fidel was amazing from checkin to taking care of us throughout his shift. He went above and beyond and made our stay extra special!

Typical clean Hampton Inn. Staff were excellent, plenty of parking, nice outdoor pool. Have absolutely no complaints.

We slept with our window blinds open facing our vehicle because we could see homeless people loitering around the hotel. We could not get the room to maintain a consistent temperature. The toilet made a noise every time it flushed that sounded like it was possessed by demons. This morning we went down for breakfast 90 minutes before the end of service and were told there was no breakfast because the cook had to leave. Ok - maybe you don't have the ability to serve hot food, though I would argue anyone can heat up some sausages. However what about all of the cold breakfast foods or the waffles etc that don't require a cook?!? There's absolutely NO reason for this and the breakfast is the ONLY reason we chose this hotel.
