Your staff was super helpful. We enjoy our stays, clean, comfortable et- thank you!

Upon arrival no one was at front desk for check in, waiting at least 5 mins and she came in from outside. She was the person smoking on the bench next to the front door- breaks are great, but she was the only one working and we walked past her to enter the property. Elevator was also out of service and we were given a 3 rd floor room. I asked for a discount on the room for the inconvenience, and was told per management the only thing they could offer me was no charge for cancelling. They didn't contact me by phone, email etc to offer it, only when I am present, not knowing if I could get another room at a different hotel. I was there for a wedding so this, unfortunately, wasn't an option. She did say if I was a member of their program she would give me "points." I am not and saw no reason to join, as I will not be frequenting holiday inn expresses based on this experience. Bathroom was very clean. Hotel gym was nicer that other places of states offering options for weights. Treadmill made a terrible squeaking noise.

The elevator was out when we checked in an it made unloading difficult with an elderly guest. They could not get us on the 1st floor, but did move us from the 3rd to the 2nd. Overall it was just an ok place to stay.

Staff was friendly. Asked front desk about restaurants and she printed out a list for us and gave recommendations. We had a great dinner.

Elevator was broke water fountains was broke no water pressure in the shower

Had no hot water for showers and the elevator was down.

Hotel was ok! We had a horrible night the first night with the front desk staff who decided to scream at our group and call the police for us sitting outside talking. There was another rowdy group who were crazy and they came out and said it was us! Cop was great and said he wasn’t worried! They also yelled at us about “our kids” who were already in bed. It was a team of kids running around! No one came out and talked to us first. Just blamed and yelled. Elevator was down all weekend which was understandable. Cleaning staff was super friendly and we loved them. Overall won’t be back. Maybe should reconsider who you have running this hotel. They were very rude! Manager was Jenni and that’s all the info we got!

On up side- great location, pool was nice, people were very helpful n friendly, spoke English good, great breakfast both days, beds were comfortable, heat n ac was great. All in all I will stay there again. Cost efficient to boot.

Cleanliness

It’s in a great location in downtown New Albany right across the river from Louisville. I highly recommend, will stay here again.

It was so clean. Breakfast was lacking

The hotel is a nice. Though short on wash cloths and the tub water handle was broke and the toilet flapper needs replacing.

My shower/bath tub didn't have hot water .

The staff were all kind and helpful. Pleasant faces to arrive to and depart from. Pool was great, perfect temperature. Room was clean and cozy
