La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Milwaukee SW New Berlin

We were very satisfied with everything! It was the first time staying at this chain, so we were pleasantly surprised.

Hot tub and pool were dirty.

Comfortable bed, clean room, very quiet no street noises, cars, sirens etc. Ok breakfast. Helpful staff. o Price little higher than wanted to pay, but still lower than most in area. Had a few bad cartons of milk could have come that way though.

The room was very clean.

It was a decent place for the price. Honestly, I’ve only stayed at La Quinta twice and both times the shower was too cold. The temperature was set and unable to make it warmer so I probably wouldn’t stay at a La Quinta hotel again.

Great hotel for dogs. It is secluded with a nice outdoor area for your dogs. Unfortunately, there was remodeling and construction going on during our stay. There wasn’t much of a breakfast, but they did provide something. I’m sure once the remodeling is completed it will be fine.

Nice comfortable room The lady taking care of the breakfast area didn’t speak English so it was VERY hard to communicate anything to her!!!

The location near where I had to be. The shower was great. The bed was comfortable. All the pillows were the same, no variation. The bed squeaked and the TV was difficult...took forever to get live tv on as if the internet connection was poor. After checkout I had to call and tried 3 times and would ring forever as if no one worked there...never got through

I messaged you prior to my rating and never heard back. Our stay was aweful! So aweful we didn't stay. Our first room had a bathroom that didn't flush. We asked for assistance to hear they will send someone. 40 minutes later- still no help, we tried to call the desk- no answer several times, we went back to the desk - we were then told the help went home and was asked to ask cleaning staff for help. Once I found cleaning staff they handed me a plunger to try to fix said issue! After 10 minutes of no success we requested a room change to be told only one room was left. He went to go check the room and offered one that there was a lock issue. We requested a refund to go find somewhere else and was told no and that a manager was planning to follow up with us the following day. We are still waiting. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Everything was great except the continental breakfast. We were told that their dining area was under maintenance, so we understood. The pool & Hot Tub were clean & fun. The room was very clean, & the mattresses were very comfortable-- the best I have had in a hotel! I have had 4 back surgeries, so I can say that it is extremely hard to find a comfortable bed to sleep in when traveling! Just the continental breakfast, but we understand when maintenance becomes necessary!!9

Our bedding was stained had to request new.

The hotel was clean overall, but our room did not include any soap for handwashing and the toilet paper holder was not reinstalled back to the wall and was laying on the bathroom vanity base. We had to hold the toilet paper when needed instead.

Another advantage is the variety of restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping options nearby. Whether I need a quick meal, a place to unwind after work, or to pick up something I forgot to pack, everything is just a short drive away. The hotel is always clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff has consistently been friendly, professional, and welcoming, making check-in and check-out simple and efficient. The rooms are comfortable and provide everything I need for a productive business trip. Parking is plentiful and convenient, and the complimentary breakfast is a nice perk that helps get the day started without having to make an extra stop before work. As someone who travels frequently for business, I appreciate consistency, convenience, and value. This hotel delivers on all three, which is why I continue to choose it whenever I'm working in the area. I highly recommend it to other business travelers visiting the Milwaukee region.

Small signs of something significant in the recent past – stairways with the bottom trim ripped off and 3 inch holes linearly spaced. Continued ‘cleaning fluid’ smell. Room itself seemed physically ok, and it was nice to have a separate small freezer for such a small fridge. Glass shower doors were refreshing compared to plastic at so many hotels. Later discovered: window shade shade-wide plastic pulldown was hanging ½ loose; toilet was not connected to the floor, and could easily have been rocked off the base. Sunday morning ‘breakfast’ was surprisingly small, and in a small room. The mess of tables had been somewhat straightened up - I guess that this area was the former larger breakfast eating area, but some water-based incident was being fixed. Yes, the ‘cleaning fluid’ scent was still all around. Once we got home and unpacked, our packed clothes still smelled very strongly of that ‘cleaning fluid’.

Location Room not clean, bed uncomfortable, breakfast meager and poor quality. Nice to have dog in room but extra charge excessive considering the lack of comfort for us. Will not be staying at this location again and we are often in the area for family occasions. Almost asked for a refund as we checked out. Hope this location sees improvement soon.
