Maison St Charles

This is our 3rd stay as we love this hotel so much, nice big rooms with great aircon and everything you need. The swimming pool is our favourite area with sun loungers and a hot tub. The breakfast has a really good choice and the hotel offers free coffee at breakfast and in front reception. The girls at reception need a mention too as they are all really lovely and super helpful x

The place is a bit outdated but the room was clean, the heated pool and hot tub were nice. Pretty quiet and low key, the street car trolley stops are right across the street too, so you don’t need a rental car or have to rely on uber all the time. The shower water wasn’t always hot and housekeeping never came back to clean our room. Lastly, as a piano player, I was a bit disappointed that it wasn’t tuned. Overall j, I’d stay here again if I ever came back to NOLA.

Room was clean and spacious staff was friendly. Property was cute and historic. Need to walk outside to get to rooms decent elevator. Did not have breakfast ($15 a person)

The shower head was so full of grim that it affected the pressure. Water was not coming out off all the openings. The showers were also small and constructed with the most idiotic plan in mind. I ruined my shoes because the water from the shower was going everywhere because it only had half a glass door. The floor was soaked after every shower with the floor mat. The outside property was maintained ok, and the location was ok. Parking was a joke that you had to pay an additional fee for. Their immediate lot didn't even have 12 spaces. You had to walk across a street up the block for their overflow not convenient at all. I wish the staff would've been decent and said we could've just parked on the stree for free. Which is what we did most times because the parking lot we paid for stayed full. This was a step up from a Motel. Not For individuals who like to travel and enjoy decent Hotels. This is a potentially sound option for a struggle hotel when in need. But I would never again for the price, look, and service.

I was in a Junior suite… The room was not clean when I went in it only had one pillow on the bed and no towels. The sink was dirty and the faucet would not turn off as though it was stripped. The employees stood around and you couldn’t tell the employees from the homeless people standing around the establishment. We asked for towels on day 2 and they never came. The door was white and filthy the floor was filthy the fireplace (appeared to be ) area was dirty I told the front desk about these things and the lady said her shift was about to end and to tell the next lady. I felt unsafe and was afraid to leave my belongings to go on an outing I will never stay here again and I do not recommend

We had an amazing family trip at Maison St Charles. The staff was so nice and helpful. The property was in perfect location to transportation and walking activities. We got to see the French Quarter, magazine street, the Essence festival of culture and the good choices were phenomenal. I recommend the Maison St Charles and we will be back

Really glad we booked this hotel. Trolley is across the street, hotel staff were very polite. Loved the atmosphere on the hotel property. Our room was on the first level amongst plants and flowers outside our hotel room door. Parking on location with 2 lots available. Clean rooms. Would highly recommend.

Very beautiful, great staff! My room could have been better cleaned upon my arrival. Found a dead roach in my bathroom when I first arrived and stains were on the door and walls and in the fridge . Should include better pictures of the room for accurate advertisement!

The beds were comfortable

Steps to the streetcar, it is quiet location and neighborhood, staff always responds to needs quickly, and the beds are comfy.

We had a great stay at The Maison. Great room, clean and tidy. Plenty of towels and comfy bed. Air conditioner and tv woked great. The front desk staff were very nice and friendly throughout, and so were the security staff. The pool was well maintained and very fun. Would stay again.

It is situated within short transit or rideshare distance to major hubs, including the New Orleans Convention Center and the vibrant French Quarter. The surrounding area has excellent dining options, making it a perfect base for both business and leisure travel. The property blends classic charm with convenience, providing a comfortable and reliable experience. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to New Orleans.

Stopped overnight on our way from Florida to Home. Great location, feels like you’re transported to a new world. Hot tub was wonderful, restaurant was divine. Breakfast was good (some celiac friendly foods)
