Maison St Charles

Our room was decent. Bed was great. It was very quiet for the first part of our stay. It was a football weekend so some of the other guest got a little loud on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. We did have to ask for towels twice during our stay (5 days) as they didn't leave us any. The electric plugs were loose in the walls. Husband pulled one out of the wall The maintenance guy came in and fixed it. The last night we did have an uninvited guest in our bathroom at 2AM... Arather large Cockroach. Not something you want to see when you get up to go to the bathroom. But other than that it was a nice stay. We didn't do the breakfast as the charge $14.00 for a continental breakfast style breakfast. Also parking is $25.00 a night, unless it's an event then it stated it was $50.00 a night.

Front staff seemed very privileged did t want to really help when checking in. Room had some weird dirty spots. Some kind of fluid above bathroom door stuck to wall. Breakfest I would recommend going somewhere else.the poor lady doing had no help so food was stale and drinks were always empty. Felt bad how much she was running around on her own.

I did not do breakfasts. Overall good nothing that I disliked.

Exceptional

The pool area and courtyard feel like you're in your own little world. This place is perfect for a couples getaway! Make sure you eat at the restaurant attached to the hotel!!! It was fantastic. We had the best time and it was so nice to be able to hang out outside and sit in the courtyard or by the pool at night and feel completely safe. This is the only place I will be staying in NOLA. The showers are crazy lol you WILL get water on the floor. There is no shower door. We didnt mind it and actually got a few laughs out of it but I do see where if you had mobility issues of any kind the regular showers will not work for you.

IT was fine, middle of the road. Could have used better coffee at the greeting area and needed a nicer place to stow my bags. They had what I needed.

Our stay was amazing at St. Charles Maison: staff was friendly and helpful even before out check in time, we had the opportunity to leave out luggage to explore the city. Our room was nice, spacious and AC worked perfectly in our room. Overall our stay was pleasing we felt safe and comfortable as there is a security guard in between the pathway of lobby, parking spaces and rooms.

This is a hidden jewel. Loved the stay. Big rooms, cleaned, the ambiance and location couldn't be better. Price wise is a bargain, do not raise the price, keep it like that.

The free coffee was okay, but it would have been nice to have a free breakfast other than that.It was a nice stay. I will definitely stay there again.

Room was clean. Shower area was a little weird. Needed some more light in the room. Beds comfortable. Easy parking. AC worked great. Easy walk to Saints game.

Fabulous location! Nothing! It was wonderful

The location is great, nice restaurants within walking distance. The property has rustic charm, the courtyard was nice and quiet place to relax with a book or have some dessert. The low score comes from room cleanliness. There was hair on the sofa and bathrooms. We had two roaches in the room and it was overall dusty. Thank goodness my sister is a neat freak and walks with her Clorox wipes and pillow cases/ and sheets. I paid for a suite wanting to make my daughter’s sweet 16 special and she was afraid to sleep at night because of the bugs.

Great location. This hotel was close to restaurants and trolley stop.

The pictures were a bit deceiving but over all it was a nice stay and everything was clean and comfortable.

It was close to everything and so quiet Staff at front desk was rude. We asked when we checked in if we could extend our stay to Monday was told by front desk can't do that because we used 2nd party booking but to come back in Sunday morning and we could extend it well.... the lady up front today told me who said that and we don't have any rooms well thats not what was told to us at check-in....
