Maison St Charles

I loved my stay here! Very convenient location, clean room, Keywanda helped me check in and she was lovely. I would definitely stay here again. Mosquitos in room and water pressure was really low unless you wanted the water boiling hot.

Was charged 2 times for same room , breakfast attendant was very rude

Kenwanda and Nicholas were helpful but the woman who fills the coffee in the lobby was soooo sooo rude and even though she knew I was waiting, she ignored me and made me wait more than 20 minutes! We left without it. The beds were comfortable and pool was so warm and lovely. Area is beautiful but a bit run down. Parking was $25 which I didn’t know about but they were nice and let me check in early. There was a dead coachroach by our door but the room felt clean and the courtyards were beautiful. Trolley was efficient way to get to downtown but make sure you have cash and exactly change or you’re screwed!

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great location room was very clean. I would stay there again.

Clean, quiet, heated clean pool and a working jacuzzi. AC isn’t the best. First unit went out and had to switch rooms. Second was worst than the first. Shower pressure could be better!

Charming looking hotel with parking. Great location - although I’d originally booked it due to being on the St. Charles line which was partially closed for repairs while we were there (replacement bus on). But when it’s fully open, the location would be brilliant. Great pool & hot tub. Not very busy while we were there. Open until 10pm so great for late night dip when we’d been out all day in the heat. Lovely breakfast area - again not very busy but offering was simple & sufficient. We had an issue with our air conditioning leaking in our original room & the team were great moving us to another. Toiletries provided. Fridge / microwave & safe. The hotel looks great but there are just a few bits that could do with a little TLC - the tap in our room kept leaking unless you got it exactly in the right spot. Both shower heads in both rooms moved on the walls. Parking at $25 a night is quite steep. But parking is at a premium I suppose for where we were staying.

It was a good hotel. Good value for what you pay. Most of the staff were very nice, only one girl was very rude. We liked the pool as well. There was a cockroach in the sink one night and the pool was closed for a day (it was 109, the only thing we wanted was the pool)

The beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately, the ice machine closest to our room was broken. The other ice machine was close, so it was ok.

Very comfy beds. Shower head could use a little help. Really enjoyed the stay and location to everything was great!

Great location and hotel room was clean. Only complaint was my room didn’t have hot water and we didn’t want to change rooms as we were leaving the next day, but they allowed us to use the vacant room downstairs to take a hot shower which was helpful

This place is a must!!! Location location location!! Bonus Mr. Ed’s is right next door best chargrilled oysters. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Beautiful courtyards pool was great. And just steps from the front of your hotel is the streetcar. 10/10 will be back and recommend
