Holiday Inn Express New Orleans - Arts District by IHG

It was disgusting there was no parking they told us to park a block and a half to two blocks away and walk back to the motel there was a rat in the parking garage of the motel there was no room for our luggage to fit in the elevator to ride up on a luggage cart we left and they didn't reimburse our money we are still fighting with Expedia to get our money back but nobody's cooperating we went and stayed somewhere else so we're out $700. I would think twice about using Expedia and definitely wouldn't stay in this Motel

I like the price and the area wasn’t bad. It was within walking distance to Caesar Superdome, convention center and Burbon Street and French Quarter.

Room was clean, staff was very helpful and kind.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful orienting us about the trolley that goes nearby how to use it , also about the parking lot. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was a little hard to get to it. It like a maze. Breakfast was good and hot

The biggest issue was the window covering. One of the blinds was completely missing, not just damaged. As a result, a significant amount of light came through the window throughout the night, making it very difficult to sleep comfortably. A clean, well-maintained room and proper window coverings are basic expectations for any hotel stay. Unfortunately, the condition of the room and the missing blind negatively affected my experience.

The room was okay. Staff were nice in person, however, we unfortunately left our AirPods on the nightstand in the room and called very soon after noticing. The front desk said that they would be moved to Lost and Found, which we saw using the location service. However, we called multiple times to follow up and they refused to confirm and then suddenly claimed they couldn't find them anywhere, despite us seeing the location in the hotel. We can only assume that somebody with access to Lost and Found took them as an early Christmas present. Staff is also extremely unresponsive via Expedia. 1/5 would not stay here again.

Convenient parking and public transit, however the room size felt small.

Everything was wonderful. However unlike my stays in the past I discovered that the complimentary breakfast on Saturdays did not start till later time. I was counting on having breakfast but I had to leave due to transportation schedules. Complimentary breakfast is wonderful when you are able to enjoy it.

Staff at this hotel were so pleasant and helpful. BIG shoutout to Reuben at the front desk! I will be traveling to the area a lot more to attend basketball games, I will definitely keep this hotel at the top of my list!

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the restroom door did not have a strike plate on the door frame, so the door didn't close correctly. Other than that, everything else was fine.

Descent hotel for the money. Not so much the hotel just the homeless in the round about and sleeping on the exits. Feels sketchy but they are usually friendly.

The air conditioning was not working on our unit, the staff did cater to our needs but it was just a inconvenience
