Memoir Warehouse District

The corner balcony room is NOT worth the price. Directly above the dumpsters and a view of the parking lot across the street. Spent two full days listening to the carpet cleaning company truck directly below my balcony with a large generator. Water lines and cords going up the side of the building obstructing the window and you couldn’t even walk out to the balcony to enjoy it. Accommodations were fine. Plain and simple, nothing to write home about. Went to the bar on the 5th floor at 5:15…closed.

Kind staff. Pool area was a beautiful respite given I was looking for a peaceful spot. Bar and kitchen made meals easy.

Love the "feels like home" vibe and the quiet neighborhood. Yet within blocks there were plenty of options. Room was as described, but beware, if you're looking for cable or TV service, bring a book...

Everything was great besides the grumpy receptionists…..

Stood in that dark alley alone for almost 15 minutes when a resident showed up, let me in, and found the lobby person to get me checked in and a key to the room. I felt pretty exposed standing there alone in that alley with 2 bags in the dark and nobody around.

It was a little confusing where to park exactly, one lot was $50 per night, one was $20 and they were side by side. It was Saturday afternoon so we parked on the street, after 5 pm they don’t ticket you until Monday. It was a little confusing which door to go in to sign in but after that, the staff were great, rooms were nice, and pool was great.

Not included but a good cafe.

Every other time that I've stayed at this property, there has been bottled water in the room, but not this time. The door to my room was warped at the bottom, and although it did close and lock, there was space at the bottom. I also had difficulty connecting the tv for casting and finally gave up.

One of the best locations I've stayed at in Nola, less than a 10 min walk from Bourbon Street. Super clean, spacious and truly felt like a studio apt located in the edge of Art District.

Great location, gym 24/7 access, Great restaurants nearby.

Just wonderful, and about as quiet a stay as you can have in NOLA. A bit off the beaten path, but that proves to be a plus. Great neighborhood, restaurants, starting with Pesce, its neighbor. The rooftop coffee shop/bar is a 10. (But maybe the property could give the hallway carpets a good cleaning or replacement. Highly recommended.)

Plenty amenities No king sized beds on the property. Queen bed not sufficient for my wife and I.

Overall I liked my stay at Memoir and appreciated the hotel amenities mixed with apartment-style units. The rooms were bigger than a comparable hotel room and had everything I needed. The attached Common House (coworking/social club) was a nice place to hang out as well, I liked the lounge area and the fact that they had daily programming. The location was relatively walkable and not too busy. Lastly, the on-site food options were reasonably priced - more affordable than other hotel dining I've seen. I have a couple main gripes with the property: - housekeeping only comes once a week - the room didn't have a full length mirror - the couch was really old and uncomfortable. this wouldn't have been a big deal if the TV was visible from the bed.

A few things were not up to par. However is was a fairly comfortable stay.

Beautiful property. Staff was unhelpful and frankly disengaged. For example, asked how to get to the pool but failed to tell us the pool towels are in the closet of the room NOT at the pool. Had to go back to the room only to find one towel. Back to the lobby where we were offered a small gym towel and no apologies. You can’t charge to the room at the pool or the bar. Pool bar staff spent most of their time walking around vaping not behind the bar. Room had maintenance issues as well. Blind leading to outdoor space wouldn’t roll up; tv didn’t work, ice maker didn’t work, handle to freezer broken. Told staff; they said they would put in a ticket. No apology- never fixed.
