Great quiet stay

The hotel is in a great location. Not so much hustle and bustle. The staff were professional and friendly. The bar onsite was also convenient. I'd stay here again.

We didn't dine at the hotel. The facilities were very clean and comfortable. I don't have a single complaint about our stay and would stay there again. I will be returning to New Orleans for the same trip next year but will stay at a different Marriot location in order to be closer to the attractions I am there for. There was nothing about the stay that I didn't like. My choice of locations didn't put me ideally close enough to the attractions we were in New Orleans for.

The hotel seemed outdated and is overpriced. Initially, I assumed the price was higher than others in the area because the rooms would be nicer. That was not so. I only stayed one night. I checked out of the Renaissance Hotel the day after my one night stay & checked in to the Holiday Inn Vacation Club property located on Carondelet Street The rooms are small there are no amenities. It’s a very basic hotel. There are nicer rooms with amenities closer to downtown.
