Everything was good. However they can use a little updating with the furniture in the rooms.

There was a 4 hour delay with check in due an IT system problem; the breakfast items were inadequate; and the building hallways were very hot. This was the worst Embassy Suites I've stayed at.
-
It would have been okay but the AC was out in the entire hotel on the hottest days of the year. Otherwise, it probably would have been fine

Breakfast: consistently had eggs, fries (aka red skinned potatoes), breakfast meats, oatmeal or grits and muffins/bagels along with the omelette kitchen. Pretty standard. Happy hour: rotated between chips/salsa, cheese/crackers, fruit/ruffles & dip. They give you two card for each day when you check in. We were shorted half of our drinks and three of our breakfasts, so do your math if it’s important to you. Room amenities: we checked in and had it all: towels, coffee, cups, etc. However, the longer we stayed, the less things were replenished. It got to the point that we were getting one washcloth to share and two towels. Considering we reserved for three people, this was frustrating. The coffee was never replenished, the cups were not replaced after we used them (they were disposable) and neither were the makeup wipes. While this all seems nitpicky, we were here for six days. The amount of showering in NOLA after walking around in a swelter all day requires towels and washcloths. As travelers, we learn to rely on the room amenities and, though we called daily, we were unable to get what we needed. We were told that the front desk that they don’t have access to the housekeeping supplies except for bath mats, so we were just out of luck. Last, there were mouse traps all over downstairs. That just gave us the ick, not to mention the fire alarm glitch that had us running down the emergency stairs…

The computers were down upon my arrival and I was unable to check in until 9:00 that night. I was unsure if we were even going to have a place to stay. When I spoke to staff a few times, they had no back up plan and no way to confirm whether I would be allowed on the property or not. It was very stressful.

We weren’t able to check in. We waited around for about 4 hours and had to find another hotel. Unfortunately, their system was down and they suggested we find another hotel. They did, however, try to give us some points, but that didn’t work either.

AC went out and maintenance or repairs during our stay

Staff were very helpful and attentive, good location . The property needs some maintenance. Breakfast was good and the complementary happy hour!!

Well maintained and would stay there again.

Room was clean. Loved the Welcome Sign on the TV. Staff were quite accommadating. Breakfast could have been more like waffles or pancakes that aren't frozen. The air conditioning was the worse I have ever experienced for a high end hotel. The floor in front of air conditioner outside our room must have been leaking because the floor in front of it was wet. Lastly, I do believe that that wetness outside our room caused my grandson to have an asthma attack (because they liked to hang out in that area looking over the balcony) and good thing I brought his machine.

Embassy Suites has always been a favorite place for my family. I know what we will receive when it comes to service and quality. My experience with Embassy Suites of New Orleans was simply, okay. At arrival, we were greeted and provided our keys and other goodies (complimentary breakfast/managers reception cards). Once in our room, everything appeared nice. Saturday morning, we had no hot water to shower. As we exited our room to the 3rd floor elevator, there was a vile odor like a dirty mop was used to mop the flooring near the ice machine. I reported this and the young lady at the front must have taken care of it since the smell had gone (after being gone most of the day). Our shower water warmed a little more Saturdy evening and Sunday morning but the rest of our stay we experienced luke warm water which was disappointing.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was great

The stay during Essence was both convenient and a great location. Embassy offered a great breakfast, which took the “what are we going to eat” away. Its location is with a five minute walk to the convention center and a 1.3 miles from the Superdome. And be free happy hour was the cherry on top!!

The property was fine and the workers were excellent. My room was very small and I was not aware that it would be that small. It was also very hot. I always thought if you stayed at Embassy Suites you would stay in a suite. Other than that things were good and the breakfast was great as usual.

Food was excellent and the staff was great.
