The Riverfront Hotel New Orleans

Decent for a night stay or two. Some improvements can be made from a quality perspective (elevator functionality, hallway and room maintenance).

The neighborhood is miserable to park your car in, like everywhere in the area, to be honest. It’s crazy that you have to pay $35/day for valet parking for your stay. In my opinion it should be included or severely discounted. Also, breakfast isn’t included either, it’s extra. I’ve stayed at much cheaper hotels with excellent included breakfasts. Lots of homeless people in the area and at one point we could have sworn we heard gunshots. Also, every shower I took was burning hot. No cooler water at all. Mentioned it to the desk and it was never fixed. But the rooms were clean and comfortable and smelled fine. Staff was fine.

Right across from my conference and walkable to French Street. Food in area was great.

This property charges a resort fee that includes many things, none of which were of value to our stay but may be valuable to others. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, beautiful lobby and bar space.

Very nice hotel . Close to cruise ship port. Close to all fun things to do in the city. Will stay again !

We had no hot water and the phone did not work in the room. The staff was very helpful and the hotel was clean.

Staff had excellent customer service skills. Check in was quick. The hotel was in an excellent location for where we were going which was the Earnest Morial Convention center!! I fully recommend this hotel.

Valet parking was a plus. We pulled up to check in we were approached by the valet and a porter to take our luggage inside and waited until we checked in to take our luggage to our rooms. That being said please tip the valet and the porter. I give our stay a 5 out of 5

The hotel was a good experience it just needs to be updated.

Very friendly staff and it's also pet friendly. However they take a facility fee out of your deposit. Convenient location for convention center and Harris casino.

The staff was very helpful and nice with check-in. The hotel was conveniently located near the convention center. House keeping was prompt with supplies & the rooms were clean. I enjoyed the stay.

It was my first time abd it won't be my last. The staff was very friendly and helpful 🙂

When we arrived, our first room wasn’t the cleanest, so we moved to another room that was a bit smaller. Also, there were issues with valet parking, so we parked elsewhere but paid the same price we would have for valet parking. Since we were there for Essence, the hotel was super convenient in location- a walk from the convention center and a few mins from the Superdome. In addition, the hotel food was 10/10! Altogether, we were pleased even with the few hiccups we experienced.
