Cambria Hotel New Orleans Downtown Warehouse District

The staff was incredibly courteous for both of our stays (pre and post Carnival cruise) and even provided for early check-in for both stays. The rooms are very well designed and the location is perfect...close enough to the French Quarter and Frenchman St. to get to entertainment and dining yet far enough for peace and quiet in the evenings! My only complaint is regarding the hotels.com Silver perk of $25 towards "Food and B everage" as it does not apply to the very nice restaurant and bar on the property. It only applies to the sundries shop which only had chips, drinks, and several days-old sandwiches. I found that a bit misleading and brought it to the attention of the staff who responded that, unfortunately, that's the way it works.

Great hotel will be staying again !!!!!

Location and the room was a good size. Puzzled why they did not clean our room when we stayed for 5 nights.

Everything was great! Hotel is really nice. My 1 complaint would be water pressure in shower!

One thing that could be improved… give guests a bottle of water each night. It’s really hot in New Orleans!!!

The location is great lots of restaurants nearby. Close enough to walk to the French Quarter and the World War II museum. The staff is helpful and very nice.

While the hallway was a little dark, it provided a moodiness to the feel of the hotel that captured the essence of New Orleans. The gym was small, but adequate especially for a hotel of this size. More importantly, every time I was in the gym I was the only person there, which made it more enjoyable! All the staff, especially the front desk front desk staff, was welcoming and accommodating. My only grip is the breakfast. I purchased the breakfast in it in advance because I was looking forward to the made-to-order breakfast. Instead, a breakfast buffet was served my entire stay at the hotel so I never was given opportunity to have a made-to-order breakfast. While the breakfast buffet was always hot, I was truly looking forward to ordering chicken and waffles or beignets for breakfast. I would return and I do recommend the Cambria Hotel (Warehouse District).

Front desk, cleaning and maintenance staff were all SUPER friendly and helpful! Room was clean and I really appreciated the text updates throughout my stay. Would definitely come back!

We had an AMAZING experience at this hotel! As a large family we needed two rooms which can be quite pricey! We found a deal on this room and had to jump at it. Our main activity with the kids was the WW 2 museum which is not extremely far away. My husband and I walked to the French Quarter and got a Lyft back. It was a long walk but I enjoyed it. The staff at this hotel were wonderful! They texted each day to check on us. They were helpful with recommendations. And there were some great restaurants in the area. I highly recommend this place and would stay here again.

The property was centrally located ,which is great .The room and common areas were clean. The issue: the lobby smelled of sewage and chemicals. And i was told that it was due to the hotel being previously a garage which ran over a sewer. As the day got hotter the smell in the lobby got stronger.

Thankfully, the staff moved us to a third room, which was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we expected. While I appreciate that they worked to resolve the situation, it was frustrating to have to switch rooms twice before getting one that was ready. Overall, the hotel has nice rooms, but the maintenance and housekeeping need improvement. I hope these issues are addressed because the hotel has the potential to provide a much better guest experience.
