St Charles Coach House, an Ascend Collection Hotel

The property was clean, and the rooms were nice and tidy. The beds were comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The location is perfect. The availability of free parking is what led me to choose this hotel over the others hotels. The lack of vending machines and the construction of the nearby hotel were huge inconveniences. The construction crew worked on weekends, which disturbed my sleep.

The location was ok The beds were made nice, however the room wasn’t actually clean. The floor was extremely wet, die to the air conditioning leaking. The bathroom doors and walls are nasty. Tub felt unsanitary. Staff with attitudes, when you ask for towels, etc. It was as if we were bothering them.

Enjoyed the 2 nights I stayed here, though I wouldn’t say I loved this hotel. The location was convenient and I liked the neighborhood, but we were on the front of the building and there was definitely street noise at night/early morning that was pretty loud. The staff were pleasant, though, and the coffee in the lobby was excellent, so those were bonuses. I would probably stay again if I got a good rate given theses positives.

Everything was excellent...very clean, excellent floor plan and amazing water pressure. Staff was great. Loved that you could park for free on property.

Great place. Outside of the construction workers working near by no complaints at all. That’s not the property fault but they also put a noise canceling radio in the room to mitigate that issue so I really appreciate that accommodation. I will definitely be staying again.

Great location right in front of the trolley stops. Lots of great eateries nearby. Free covered parking. Lobby smelled amazing. The staff was great. The room was huge! The balcony…amazing. The location is off of a busy street so if you’re sensitive to street noise, there’s a lot at night. The bathroom is really small.

I love that the hotel is right at a stop dor the #12 streetcar line. That made navigating out to either the French Quarter or Carrollton extremely easy.

Property was great with excellent location in Garden District. Staff very nice and helpful. Was very quiet at night.

Me and two girlfriends stayed here for one night before our cruise. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The room was very clean and the beds and pillows were so comfy. The free parking was a wonderful perk. We loved that we could hop on the street car that was right in front of the hotel. We also enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants all around us to grab a bite. There is a coffee shop easy walking distance that we visited the morning before we left to get on the ship. The only complaint would be the construction going on next door woke us up super early. It did not stop me from booking this hotel again for my family cruise in February 2027. I am hoping the construction will be completed by then.

Absolutely everything! It was spotlessly clean, the beds were really comfortable and the staff were all really friendly. Nothing not to like, it was all fabulous
