Cherry Valley Hotel

Much better than most hotel/motel facilities. Also had live music

The check in person was great. The property is starting to look a little run down. So unfortunate that the hallway smelled so bad of weed- it even seeped into our room.

Really nice older property. Has a lot of character, I feel they could offer free coffee in the lobby. Their food in the bar/ Resturant area is very good, breakfast Buffett is really over priced. We stay here every year for a local event with a big group, it’s convenient. I heard it’s under new management, so I’m sure they need time to get the grounds looking good. I could see improvements in the rooms already.

Wish the breakfast was free with the price we paid, overall a good stay.

This is a unique quaint property that feels like you are staying at a country Inn in the middle of an Arboretum. The geese wander around the duck swim in the pond and it feels so inviting and comfortable. I would definitely return to this property.

Very rude worker banging on my door waking me up out my sleep !

The parking lot needs some significant repairs. Beware of the potholes. At night it’s not well lit in some areas and feels a bit unsafe. The landscaping could use a little TLC as well. But, the room was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful! Overall not a bad place at a reasonable price to stay. With a little work, it could be restored to its former glory.

The property was beautiful. Lobby, gardens, courtyard were beautiful and well maintained. Room was clean and spacious. Very nice accommodations.

Beautiful lobby and grounds. The area the rooms were in was worn and not in good shape. I couldn't get our thermostat to change, but no one at the front desk was picking up. No ice (you have to get it at reception). This would be beautiful for a venue, but unfortunately was lacking as a hotel.

The stay was amazing wish the hot tub was up and running and more parents paid attention to their kids instead of drinking by the pool. Not everybody likes to see that but the stuff was great.

Pub and kitchen, great! Rooms are comfortable but were a bit of a mess. Shower backed up - 20 minutes to drain between showers, balcony falling apart, room keys not working 1 day in, internet in and out. But clean.

Nice front desk staff

Seems like they are in the middle of a little change. The ice machines were not operational and you had to get ice from the front desk. Clerk struggled to run my card at check in added about 15 minutes to the process at 12 am. Looked like a real cool event type place. I was just trying to get some sleep and then on the road again.

Reasonably priced, nice facility with friendly staff and adequate amenities all around

The front desk was very accommodating with my request. Kayla did a great job and was anxious to serve. The rooms are clean, large, and look like they were recently remodeled My wife and I will definitely stay after the Cherry Valley Hotel again when we’re in the area.
