Cherry Valley Hotel

Beautiful property!

My stay here put this hotel at the very top of my list for best hotels I've ever stayed at. The entire property is gorgeous and well maintained. The staff are very helpful and friendly. My room was easy to find. Although I didn't make it to the courtyard My view of it from the 2nd floor balcony was immaculate! The sound of the water fall in the pond and the beautiful lighting illuminating the foliage made for a very peaceful evening even in the heat and humidity. The room was very clean and everything was up to standard. Hot or cold water in the shower, huge tub, clean bathroom, working mini fridge, tv, comfortable bed, and sofa. What more could you ask for? I really did not want to leave and will return very soon for another couple nights! They even had an acoustic act in the lobby, how cool is that?! Next time I will definitely go to the courtyard and bar! Can't wait til the next time!

The price point wasn’t awful just a bit outdated and it showed. The room was pretty clean just had some hair in the shower drain that could have been cleaned up

Nice place, friendly staff. Well maintained for the most part with my only complaint being the bathtub wouldn't drain. Lovely area near a great state park with plenty nearby to see.

Very nice hotel and the grounds are beautiful. Very different to navigate around the place. Room size was good, sliding door didn't lock,sink and tub not drained properly. We were there 3 days and still didn't find the lounge or where to get a meal from.

Rooms are lacking upkeep but common areas are beautiful.

The hotel has a beautiful, garden like setting with a small pond, a walking path, and a gazebo overlooking the water. We didn’t eat in the restaurant, but the bar staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the food we ordered was delicious. Our suite was spacious and the premises was quiet and peaceful. Front desk staff was helpful and gave us great information on local sightseeing and restaurants. We plan on going back soon.

The property is quaint and gives you the feel you’re staying on a southern plantation. Each room has their own little patio area with a small table and two chairs to sit out on and enjoy your surroundings. The room was spacious and the king sized bed was So Comfortable!! Our server at the bar, Sam, took great care of us and his suggestions for dinner and drinks made for a perfect evening. We’ll Be Back!!!

I have used the Cherry Valley Lodge, now the Cherry Valley hotel for several years. The hotel must be suffering from the lack of capital as the parking lot, sidewalks desperately need work, there are plants, weeds, or small trees, growing in some of the gutters at the top of the roof. I am told that food service is not that great. At one time the food was quite good. I had breakfast there three times and the food was filling and it was buffet style so I can’t really share much about the food. Breakfast potatoes are breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs they were missing things like a toaster and the ability to toast some bread or bagels or muffins. This was a lovely place to stay and only 30 minutes from the Columbus OH airport
