Santa Clarita Motel

I had some unusual items that pleased me at this motel. First, I really enjoyed the body care products offered. Pleasant smelling and quite good quality. Next, the refrigerator was set up so nicely that I could freeze my cold packs, and store my cooler items, and was large enough to accommodate my extra large pizza box! I decided to iron my dress, and though the ironing board was kinda broken, I just laid it flat on the bed, and voila, worked perfectly. And I really loved the iron, they had it full of water already, I assumed it was to prevent guests to ruin it with tap water. But the kicker was that the cord retracted, so that I could just slap it on the wall hanger storage, and move on! I need this in my life. And the bed was seemingly brand new and beyond comfortable. I did hate all the extra pillows, no place to store them, but for the floor which makes me very apprehensive, how do other guests treat them, and then they're laying on my bed. I found a way to store them shoved into the closet area, which had amazing lighting tell me which made it super easy for me to rummage through my baggage to find my outfit. And the bedside lighting was slick, actually the entire place had a lot of imagination and utility. The place was small, and felt very safe, which was extremely important, as I was at the end of a long road trip, where I had an absolutely full suv, which was brand new and very dear to me! I will likely stay here again, it's really close to Magic Mountain /6 Flags.

I liked the room and area wasn’t bad at all. Nothing I didn’t like, there was two random office chairs in our room though.

Everything was good. The air conditioner a little noisy, as well as the traffic. Definitely need a little coffee pot in the room, for people who wake up around 4 am. I bought some cold brew and creamer, and utilized the refrigerator, so it worked out. I would stay again. Thanks!

Friendly and courteous staff

The walls were thin, you could hear traffic on the street even from the room towards the back. The "contenental breakfast" was just a prepackaged pastry, which seems like advertising a perk that wasn't really legitimate.

The room was updated and very clean. Manager was very friendly. Parking. Lot was full. Nowhere else to park.

Absolutely divine bathroom. Nothing else to say, but holy schmoly. Looked straight out of a 4 star hotel.

We got a room on the second floor in the corner away from the road so it was quieter. Room was freshly cleaned, you could smell the pine sol. The staff was helpful and friendly. The gardens around the motel had cute mushroom and other cute fairy style small garden figures. Washer Dryer on site with large ice machine and vending machine. Could be noisy if you don't have the fan/ air conditioner on. Needs white noise.

More often than not, you get what you pay for. This Motel is precisely that. Cheap but all the things that would normally be expected. Not a great, safe area. Noisy. Noise in the parking lot does not seem to be an issue for the owners. Overall, I got what I expected.

it was a simple but well maintained hotel

I would love to give this Hotel an excellent rating but there were a few small issues. The toilet stopped working Sunday night. Then, I came back from a very stressful drive and was locked out of my room. Why couldn’t they wait until today after I left. Then, I stepped in some gooey substance on the floor left by the people who changed my lock. I ruined a good pair of socks. Also, I walked around barefooted for a few hours. The bottom of my feet were black. I had to wash my feet at 11:00PM because of it.

Very clean motel, comfortable beds. We had a room with 2 beds and the bed near the window was blasted by the air conditioner. I liked that they had hard floors and shutters on the windows instead of drapes. Bathroom was good size and had good water pressure. I checked in at 3:00 AM and the staff person was grumpy. I had called to let them know that I would arrive that late and he assured me there was 24 hour check in. If you are going to be later than 11 pm, you may not want to stay there...
