AC Hotel By Marriott Newtown Square

The room was very clean, towels were really plush, bed and pillows were plush and comfortable. Hotel was quiet at night and location was fabulous and very safe in a very upscale neighborhood. The only quirky thing was the bathroom door in the room was a sliding barn door made out of frosted glass with no lock, so the bathroom was not private if you are staying with your children, etc.

the bartender was amazing!!! Would have liked complimentary coffee in the lobby instead of paying 20 dollars for breakfast. We ended up leaving the hotel for breakfast since it was cheaper, there were several options within a three minute walk.

I liked the quality of the staff, room amenities and proximity to eating places Cost of the breakfast and selection. I decided to eat else where as the selection did not match the price

The AGM refused to refund our payment even though it was a partial stay and the third party booking system agreed to refund partial payment. The AGM has not answered several voicemails as well. They likely double booked the rooms because we stayed half the time. Customer service

The hotel is 26 minutes from the airport. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. However, it was not so extraordinary where the room was worth the $310 for one night. The towels were cheap and rough like they did not dry them all the way. The bed was way too hard and that room felt like a sauna even though the thermostat was on low. There was also no Usbc outlet for my Apple products. I know that this is not the norm but for the price I was a bit disappointed.

Everything at the hotel was great except for one employee who told me the hotel was sold out so she couldn't give me an early check in only to find out hotel was not sold out but that was okay

They did not resolved our requests for extra towels and trash can replacements. It was my first experience that no action was taken in response to the same requests.

Did not use No cleaning service although asked for. Beds too soft. Sink in bathroom is ridiculously shallow. Sink does not drain. No clean towels until asked for. Called front desk let ring at least 50 times no answer.

The hotel is brand new and is immaculate with a very professional staff so most of my criticisms relate to the AC operating model. I'm not sure what type of traveler AC is looking to please, but the no closet, maid service every other day (not an "eco option", they just don't do it), charge for breakfast, bizarre ambiance lighting schtick didn't do it for this family based three day stay with lots of clothes for social events. Aimed to the In and Out biz traveler I guess?

We did not eat there. Did attend after party in the lobby. Pillows were to firm which made sleeping difficult. Quilt on the bed only came up to the middle of the bed.
