Fun place

This is a timeshare, therefore there is not much in the way of cooking utensils and absolutely no soap or shampoo

Cleaning crew is not getting the job done period. Location, location, location for these units. Absolutely perfect launching spot for enjoying Gull Lake in that regard. Units are showing there age unfortunately. Staff are super friendly.

All the stairs to access the cabin, the spiral stairway inside the cabin and the stairs to get into the cabana building to the pool. The resort does not have a beach area or lake view The cabins don’t have good sleeping- two of the 5 beds are pullout couches The pool deck is very hard to walk on. Many updates and maintenance are needed everywhere. Boat rentals are expensive

They said it’s because the resort is a timeshare and the owner wants to use the cabin we’re staying in the next day. They said they’d move us to cabin 13. We asked why we couldn’t go to cabin 13 and they said because it’s not clean yet. I suspect that we were supposed to be in cabin 13 originally but they didn’t get it clean in time. This made our two night stay not so relaxing. We already had to navigate around some events we had to attend, and then we had to take the time to move into a second cabin the next day, including unloading and reloading the fridge. You’d think they would try to make up for this inconvenience, but no, they only offered to allow us to cancel our stay and find somewhere else to stay last minute.

Staff very unhelpful and not willing to work with customers on certain matters. HOA type of vibe that they fail to mention in any of there listings.

The cabin was clean and linen was well maintained.

Stay away they treat you poorly if you are not a timeshare owner. Place is rundown and in desperate need of upgrades. We were greeted at our unit by a dead bird. Blinds broken (not room darking), tiles cracked, microwave cracked, fireplace made the unit smell like gas, no shampoo or conditioner or lotion. I could go on and on. We were forced to move units after the first day so they could accommodate overbooking and poor planning and refused to compensate us or help move bags and coolers. When we got off the water someone took our boat slip and ropes to tie off with. Staff is lazy and need to take lessons in customer service. Only reason this place is still in business is cause of its location on the water.

We had a nice stay. The cabins are clean and spacious and well equipped. I don’t love that they are duplexes though, as loud neighbors can get really annoying. The free boat slips, laundry in our unit and pools are reasons we’d return. The biggest issue was that we booked a three night stay and management made us move cabins after our first night because the (timeshare) owners of the first cabin decided to use it. So we sat around waiting for 4 hours for them to call us and tell us the new cabin was ready. That was frustrating. Zorbaz is a walk away which is convenient.

LAKE VIEW

The cabins at one point were very beautiful but, has not had maintenance for many years. We were in cabin 6 which has many steps to go down to get to cabin. Steps have not been maintained and are crooked, stanting, etc. The railing to hang onto was very rickety and not sturdy at all. The wallpaper was peeling in many spots in the upper bathroom. It looked like they had tried to glue it down but wasn't sticking. Cobwebs in many of the corners.

Cool cabin but has not been maintained. Definitely needed a good cleaning and updating. Has a hot tub in the unit that can't be operated and was told hasn't for several years. Worth the money we spent but could be really amazing

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about....this place was great! Very clean and spacious!

Was a nice place and liked the set up. Was cooler in the room except upstairs of course. Chair would have been nice to recline which is a small thing.
-
Clean space, well appointed, and matched the photos. We’ll be back again as we really had a great time here.
-
No person there to check us in! For 2 hours we sat leaving voice mails at their closed office. The door was locked and there were no notices on the door of what to do! We found 3 different phone numbers. No results. We were supposed to get an email with instructions of check in details that we never got.

Fireplace was broken and didn’t work, hot tub doesn’t work and wasn’t filled with water, Smoke detector was pulled out of the loft.
