Norfolk Lodge & Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Charged way more than when I signed up. Room was gross. Flies, mold etc. We had a pool side room and there was a loud pool party with really loud music until midnight. We have kids that were trying to sleep. I have stayed there many times but will never stay there again.

My favorite hotel we've stayed at, ever. Beautiful place, very clean, great staff.

Very nice stay!

Convenient having a room at the music venue we came to attend. Clean everything, comfy bed., pleasant personnel. Best breakfast ever. Only complaint was a squeaky bathroom door.

We had paid for an upgraded room. It was in an “annex” building and was not at all close to the conference center. I asked to be moved to a room closer to the event my husband was participating in, and they were unable to accommodate that. The room was well appointed, but had a musty smell that persisted throughout our stay. And the bed was so high off the ground, it almost needed stairs to get in to. We are young and able bodied, but some people would definitely have difficulty getting in and out of the bed! The breakfast was very good for a hotel free breakfast.

Room was clean and comfortable. Balcony area over pool and hot tub. Pleasant atmosphere and went for drinks at Divots located right at hotel. Also ate there, pretty good food. Bartenders were fun and helpful since new to area.

They have a very nice fitness room. We have stayed in the past and our room was awesome. I can’t say that this time. The toilet was either very old or not clean in weeks. The pillows were uncomfortable- the pillow with the sham was the best pillow but I don’t normally use them because of the decoration on the case. The window seal had dead bugs on it. I paid extra to stay in the hotel versus the others in town because of our past room. However after this stay I would not pay the extra money to stay here again without knowing what part of the hotel I would be staying in. Because we have family in town I will try a different hotel next time

Rooms were alittle dark. Very strict about no food or drink at all in the pool area. Maybe that could be changed. On the other hand, it does keep it clean!

Very comfortable and nicely decorated. Room had all the toiletries you may need, as well as fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Breakfast was good, pool was nice. Would definitely stay there again. Great stay! The room was spacious and nice, very clean. The free cribs offered are very helpful for those with young children. Would definitely choose this location again.
