It was more than what I expected. Great kitchen facilities, wonderful location. Most relaxing mini vacation ever!

The pool was great, as was the hot tub. Morning free coffee was appreciated. The breakfast and lunch restaurant on site was delicious and handy. All staff members were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, they go above and beyond. This is not really a dealbreaker but the wall bed is heavy to put up and down.

Hotel was charming. Nature trails nice. Murphy bed was terrible.
-
Room was clean, quiet and had a kitchen area. The resort is right in town and great to walk to area stores and attractions.
-
Was able to book room last minute

Scenery, cleanliness, amenities Mattress on the Murphy bed was not comfortable

Friendly staff, gorgeous place to stay if you’re interested in historical buildings. Clean full kitchen.

Great deal.

Great central location in North Conway walkable to restaurants and shops. We had a nice room with a view of the nearby hills. Lobby restaurant was under construction so no on site restaurant or lounge.

The front desk staff and housekeeping were friendly and helpful throughout our 7 night stay. We loved the wood-burning fireplace in the lobby.

Upon arrival we received two rooms that were sub par - one only had a pull out sofa and the other only had a murphy bed and the mattress looked absolutely awful. We asked about a room change and the staff was excellent in changing our rooms to two regular hotel type rooms with actual beds that were very comfortable. All staff was very friendly. The game room was super fun as was the basement game room for ping pong, pool, etc; The gym, while small, is clean and had enough for varied workouts. Great location right in town walkable to many restaurants. Beautiful old hotel. The pool area was filled with kids and parents for local lessons which was loud. Also, not much security on the rooms /back stairs. The hotel is very old but has been updated nicely - however, the rooms all have old fashioned smoke detectors that flash a light every 10 seconds which is very annoying at night. One of our rooms was SO VERY hot and the thermostat couldn't adjust. There was no restaurant on site but that is changing soon. The game rooms are only open until 10 PM which seems very early! If the hotel was filled, we would not have wanted to stay in the murphy bed rooms - those beds and pull out sofas looked terrible! Thankfully there was room to change for us but I would be worried about re-booking to make sure I didn't get one of those rooms. The outdoor hot tub is in a bad location - basically in the parking lot in the front of the hotel. They should add plantings / screening.

We enjoyed our stay. The slopes were easily accessible. The staff was personable. We were however; disappointed that we were not informed when we booked the hotel that the bar and restaurant were not open. It would not have made a difference in our booking, but it would have been nice to know in advance.

Location. Amenities. Room was dirty. Floor was covered with dirt sand and salt. Room was not vacuumed. Started developing difficulties breathing, by the end of our 3 days I ended up having an asthma attack.
-
Great location downtown, rooms with kitchenette is nice when traveling with kids. No restaurant on the premises anymore. We felt the arcade cheapens the hotel. We’ve been coming for years, and felt this have a ‘Great wolf lodge’ feel, instead of nice New England hotel.

I initially booked on Booking.com but I later called to see if any larger rooms available. I was told they had a 1 bedroom delux which would be much larger than the room I had already booked. I was told a min bed with two pull out couches, fire place, and spa tub. Sounded great! Especially since it was only $40 more night. Well, I got nothing as described. It was a two floor room with two queens on upper level and a pull out Murphy bed on main floor. No king bed for my 6 ft 250 lb husband and I. The Murphy bed took up the entire main floor when open, blocking the bathroom and entrance to the room. We had to move around furniture to even open the bed. And it blocked the fridge. No fire place, and the “spa” tub was just a normal tub with a few jets. I called the front desk about the wrong room and was told nothing they can do, they have no other rooms available. The bathroom walls covered in black mold. So even if you wanted to sit in the tub after all day on the mountain, no way would you get into it with the mold. The room heating/cooling was awful. The upper room was a sauna and would not adjust. We had it on 62 Cool! And the temp just kept going up. It was 74 degrees and stuffy at one point. We had to open a window in Feb weather! I told the front desk upon departure and showed the the pictures. They said a manager named Lisa would call me. I’ve yet to hear from anyone.

The facility and the location were great. We loved the connecting rooms. There was something for everyone to do in the area. We would definitely stay again! The only negative would be the snow plowing. Walking was difficult with the ice and snow

Easy checkin (front desk clerk was very polite and informative). Room was clean and had what we needed for our short stay.
