Merrill Farm Inn

Went with my granddaughter and my 17 yo daughter. The first day they went in the pool the girls LOVED it. The room was very clean. The first day there was an issue with the toilet they came immediately and fixed.. The housekeeping staff came took the old towels and brought new. The hotel is beautiful. The dinning room is gorgeous we sat on the deck for breakfast BEAUTIFUL. The food was freshly cooked to order we had breakfast burrito chocolate pancakes scrambled eggs bagel omelet potatoes and fruit and yogurt. I'd definitely give our stay a 10. Highly recommend going. Stores are within 7 minutes. Go you won't regret it.

We went for breakfast a few minutes after 7pm as we wanted to get an early start hiking Mt Washington.. My husband ordered an egg white omelet and the server said she would have to ask if they could make one.. The manager said they couldn't do it. My husband explained he has heart issues. She said they need to stick to the menu as the kitchen was expecting 150 people. There were 15 people there. He said he wasn't going to argue. She said we could go down the street for breakfast and thank you for not arguing. Shenever offered anything else or tried to make an effort to please him. Location was great. Staff was awesome. Food really hit the spot.

Clean room. Hot water. Inn atmosphere. 10 included choices of hot breakfast in on site barn restaurant. Restaurant open every day for breakfast but supper only on Friday and Saturdays. Outdoor pool , fire pits and beautiful river access with seating. Hot tub , sauna and small movie theater for dvd playing inside. Also afternoon tea and cookies from 330/5pm in lobby!

The grounds are beautiful. We had a wonderful breakfast on the terrace overlooking the river. The hostess was very accommodating and made everything fresh for us.

Get this out there first: the room was very spacious for my wife and I along with our two daughters. It was also cleaned each day with fresh towels and tidied up nicely. The breakfast was decent although a little different with a sit down setup rather than a buffet. The property manager/owner was very attentive and could be seen driving around ensuring things were ok and responding to guests. The location is great too!! With all of that said, the property is in pretty serious need of updates and/or remodeling. Our room was clean but aesthetically a mix of 80’s/90’s wall paper and outdated carpet and the bathroom was a little crammed. The property itself looks as if it hasn’t been updated or renovated in about 20 years with rotting wooden retaining walls, an astroturf putting green that’s all wrinkled and worn, a shuffleboard area that needs repaving and the walk to the river side is eroded. It also looked as if the exercise room had really old equipment in it too. I am understanding of cost and stuff, but with improvements this place can be magical given its location. Invest in the property!

Staff are all super friendly and helpful. We’ve been staying for quite some time while we renovate a house in the area. It’s been so great having fresh made breakfast every morning and there are lots of ways to keep my 4 year old entertained on the property. She swims, plays at the park, play room, and bouncy castle. We worked out, used the hot tub and sauna. It’s very relaxing and the housekeeping comes everyday which is something so rare these days!! 3pm fresh baked cookies are also a highlight. There are also fire pits and grills all around.

The Merrill Farm welcomed us with open arms. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out, we were surrounded with friendly faces. When we arrived,we were greeted by Bill and he helped set the tone for our vacation. My son, who is seven, was VERY excited to be there. Bill showed him how to use a rotary phone and my son was intrigued! My son then found an old fashioned ice cream maker and Bill explained how to use it step by step. Once we were checked in, we made our way to our room in the Barn,only to find another interesting sight- a phone booth! We HAD to stop for a quick photoshoot. In fact, the photos were never ending during this vacation! Our room was immaculate. It had a cozy cabin feel. We had a view of the Saco River,which we quickly explored once unpacked. We, then,found a family room with a pool table and I learned that my son can play pool! This place is heaven on earth. We even met Santa! Along with Mr. and Mrs.Claus, my son made a friend named Lee. Lee was from China and here for two months. He was our server at the Inn. He gifted my son a good luck charm. My son liked Lee so much, he wants shoes , "Just like Lee." ❤️ Thank you, Merrill Farm for welcoming us to your Inn. You helped to set a new tradition in our family. See you soon? Nothing. This is a great location if you’re going up to North Conway close to the outlets and any of the cycle tubing trips. It is even on the soccer river so if you just wanna go and hang out on the cycle, you’re already there would highly recommend.

Beautiful setting, extremely helpful staff. The restaurant had a lovely dinner and then a great breakfast the next morning. Would definitely stay here again.
