Had roaches and the air conditioner quit the last night

The room was fairly clean for most part. Shower was filthy and looked not been cleaned. First room was terrible but lady at the desk agreed to give us a new room the next day due to being full the first night. Second room was better. Property isn’t maintained to well walls in bad shape in showers, elevator was terrible shape and sketchy and hadn’t been inspected in 6 years. There was no housekeeping coming around everyday like other hotels extra amenities had to be asked for, like towels. We were definitely misled by the booking pictures and posting. Definitely not a first choice hotel but better than some.

First off, the pictures online looked better than in person. I was told that we could pay when we first arrive at the hotel but they ended up taking my money a week before. Now I know why. There was barely any staff to help. The elevator was very slow and humid. Our room looked GROSS. The sheets weren't clean and had stains on them, the night stand was sticky, and the bathroom was not cleaned all the way. The internet was terrible and the TV barely worked. It was not worth the price. Just terrible.

FIRST THINGS FIRST: bed bugs, roaches, BULLETS on the ground. The only reason they are getting 1 star is because I cant give them no stars. Very shady area of myrtle. Literally the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Never in my life have I seen such pest infestation in a building.

The room was disgusting. There were stains everywhere- do not recommend walking on them. Chairs were stained it was gross.

The lady at the front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful. The door locks are terrible.

Do not stay. Place is not as described. First room had dirty sheets on bed, bed not made up properly bathroom not cleaned, filthy carpet and just plain dirty. Askfor a different room. This room had the ceiling falling down and the electrical outlets coming off and just as bad as the first if not worse. Realize it’s a budget hotel and was getting for my granddaughter and her husband who are on a tight budget so they could spend a few days at the beach but it still needs to be clean and have polite helpful staff. Was told had to wait for manager before doing anything else and he had “stepped out”. Wanted to cancel and they said again had ton wait for manager then was told “just leave”

First of all there was no one in the office to check in with at arrival time. Maintenance man had to give us the key. Room was terrible, black mold in the tub, carpets were nasty, all light fixtures were corroded along with rust. We had to ask for light bulbs there were none in the lamps. When we called to see if there was a coffee maker in the room they said yes, well no there wasn't. So we asked for one maintenance guy brought it, which was nice but when we opened the reservoir to pour the water in there was spider webs and bugs inside. Oh I almost forgot there were no smoke alarms in the rooms. I spoke to a couple other people that stayed there and they told me they had roaches all.of the bathroom. This was the most disgusting motel I have ever stayed at in my lifetime. At that point we tried to find some where else to go but had to stay Thursday night. Friday morning we tried to talk to the manager and she did not get there until 10:15 am. Let her her we were checking out and she gave us an attitude and would not let me tell her what was wrong with the room, all she kept saying tell expedia and if they let me know I will refund your money. I don't believe a word that came out of her mouth. So at that point we are now ended up spending and additional 744.00 to get a room for 2 nights. Would like to recoup the money we spent to stay there. Thank you

Worst place ever don't book refund will not be given

Our room was in very poor condition. There was holes in the walls under plug sockets, the door frame was broken to pieces lights were literally hangng off the wall. the shower knob was hanging off . there was a dead bolt that couldnt even be locked. the microwave didnt work. the beds were clean that was about it. there were cameras 10 feet from our balcony so you had no privacy. i wouldve complained to the staff but there wasnt any around any time i went to the office after check in the doors were locked. the evacuation plan on the back of our room door stated we were in Georgia and not South carolina. The elevator said last serviced in 2020 and broke down the second day we were there. It was the poorest hotel I have ever stayed in Definitely do not recommend. Oh and cockroaches were also present in areas on the premises.......

There was absolutely nothing I liked about the property. The pictures did not match what I saw. The room was filthy smelt like weed and cigarettes. Probably one of the nastiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in in my life. EVERYTHING! The whole property was dingy and nasty. The staff was nonexistent. They was shady customers all throughout the hotel that smoke weed and cigarettes. I will never stay there again.

The pictures are definitely false advertising. We had no kitchen sink in the room. The mini fridge was dirty and I had to move it to grab my phone they fell behind and there was a bunch of broken glass that was not cleaned up while I had a 2 year old in the room. Under the fridge was so dirty. The pool was not upkept. I personally would not stay here again. Your literally paying for the views I would not spend almost 500 at this place again . Oh and it had roaches.

Great location. good water pressure. good ac. Rite on the beach No remotes for tv. Not enough lights in room. Mold n mildew

It seems that the hotel has only 2 employees. The lady at the front desk and the maintenance man that wears all of the other hats and lives on the property. Again, the 2 staff were great, however this place should be shut down for Major repair/renovation. It truly is a shame that Hotel.com is promoting this property. Lesson learned, always research reviews prior to booking.

The only 2 things good about this place was 1- air conditioner worked, 2- The ocean view balcony. It was disgusting, dirty, outdated and in desperate need of updating. I highly doubt this place is up to code.

Beach Rooms are run down. Holes in ceiling, roaches in the room, things in the room are rusted and filthy. Check out time is listed on booking.com as 11, 11 is written on the doors of the rooms. Time is actually 10. Will never stay there again.

Nothing Was Likeable Everything!

Good location. Easy access to the beach. Surprisingly, the bed linen and towels were clean. Bed was actually comfy but the pillows were as flat as crackers. Dump!! Carpet was filthy. Holes in ceiling. Half the lights didn't work. Toilet tank took 30 minutes to fill up. Had to ask for replacement towels and wash cloths. Elevator was old and looked it. Inspection tag in elevator was dated October 2020 ( over 6 years ago). Toughed it out for a week but won't be back.

I booked a room for two nights, but both beds were full of roaches. I tried to sleep in a chair the first night and I left the next day didn’t even bother to say anything because I never saw the attendant.
