Immediately seen roaches as soon as I walked into my room

The property had broken towel racks busted light fixtures base boards were rotten the water in the bathtub did not go down correctly. The furniture looked outdated, the pictures they show online. It was very much outdated, I would never stay there again

TV didn’t work. Nightlight didn’t work banister on balcony was falling off. Open wiring from the ceiling and the wall. Bed still felt like there was sand in the sheets from probably previous users. Killed several cockroaches. Informed the fire department of potential hazards. Staff was polite and tried to be helpful. But everything is dilapidated and rundown no wonder why it was so cheap.

Beautiful view, cleaner than I expected, and great location! When I opened the door it smelled so fresh and the bedding looked fresh and white, a little stained in places but still clean. The bathroom was clean and smelled sanitary. There was a nice little TV, open wifi, and the air-conditioning worked very well, icy cold. The mini fridge was clean and cold, there was a microwave that worked fine and was clean even though it was very much in need of replacement. I didnt use the coffee pot but it looked fine, it was one of those that uses the disposable pods. I staid on the 3rd floor so the balcony view was pretty sweet and the hotel basically sits right on the beach. The hotel wasnt as nice as the pictures, it needs a lot of repairs and could use an update but my biggest worry was the way the front door locked, very loose and the key kept sticking. There's a lot of water damage that needs addressing, all of the doors were hard to open and shut from wood swelling. I did see a roach but I hit him with a shoe and didnt see another for the whole weekend so It could have came in with someone else. The pillows were pretty flat so I would bring my own for the next trip. The pool water looked clean but it could definitely have used vacuuming out from all the sand on the bottom. Over all a good pressure wash and some updates and repairs could turn the place into a very nice hotel. I would stay there again, people were friendly and everything was clean and worked, its not so bad for an affordable beach front.

Upon arrival at the parking lot we immediately knew the property was not going to look as in the online pictures. The lobby, the walk towards the elevator in the back and the elevator itself smelled awful and looked hedious. Once we reached the 5th floor we couldn't believe that there was carpeting on an exterior hallway where it's open to the elements. It was completely stained, almost black--and I can assure you it's not it's original color! The lock on my room wiggled and the key (actual key, not a card key) was hard to turn. Once we got the door to open we knew there was no way we were staying. The room was nothing like what I saw online!! To begin, the lamp bases were full of rust, the desk by the window was dusty, as well as the window sills, hoping it wasn't mold on them. There was some sort of bench that at some point was burgundy but it's now stained of food. The carpeting was clearly dirty and filthy, made up of individual blocks of different shade carpet that has had better days. And the bed frame looked like it was about to fall apart, chipped at the sides, and a dingy console by the tv. When we went out on the balcony we noticed the grass by the pool looked like it had been unkept in a really long time.

As a heads up. Walked into room and you can smell the mold, bathroom had holes at bottom of frames. Wife has a medical condition that will not work for her. I told person at front desk and was told they would give us a refund which will not happen.

Entire place needs to be knocked down and rebuilt. I think they rent rooms by the week on the bottom floor. The staff was very nice. I will give it that the place is very rundown. Did not see any bugs so that was good.

the view of the beach was amazing! the walk to the beach is very short. the pool was also enjoyable and clean. they just need some updates around the place and the front desk woman was really funny and nice. compared to other options it’s outdated and is similar in price to some more updated places further down the beach. the room was decently clean but the bathroom is scary - there were two options for water temperature - just cold or burning up hot. there was a great amount of privacy that i appreciated during my stay though.

We got there the places looked ok. The toilet had the “sanitized” strip on it. I lifted the seat there was yellow stains all over it. We looked at the beds and there were dry crusty stains on there so we took the sheet off and tried to look past it. Went out the balcony and there was “cigarette” butts left behind. We left and came back to sleep there was roaches every where. I tried to ignore it and keep stuff off the floor. My baby’s car seat was placed at a high level and I saw a bug crawling out of it. Roaches were on walls ceiling sinks night stands EVERYWHERE.

The only positives were the view and the gentleman who checked us in. He was very friendly, helpful, and came right away to assist us. Unfortunately, the building was in terrible condition and very dirty, from the outside to the inside. The lobby smelled disgusting, the hallways were nasty, the doors needed cleaning, and there was a hole in the ceiling near the entrance. The elevator also smelled extremely bad. We could not use the swimming pool because a family nearby was playing loud music and making a lot of noise. The pool itself looked clean, but the hallway leading to it was filthy. The room was also disappointing. The carpet was so dirty that I had to wear socks because I could not step on it barefoot.Shower did not work properly: water kept running from the lower tap, the water would not properly reach the showerhead, and the pressure was very low.Bathtub was dirty, with dark residue around it.The towels looked clean, but I was uncomfortable using them.Sheets had stains, although they smelled clean, so we used our own pillows and blanket instead.Patio door was difficult to open and seemed broken.The lamps were dirty, one tall lamp was broken, and the patio lights were broken and rusty.There were only two patio chairs. There was a microwave, coffee maker, and TV, but I did not feel comfortable using them because of the overall cleanliness. The Wi-Fi did work, which was a positive. Overall, the property needs serious cleaning, maintenance, and renovation.

. Roaches, bed bugs, rooms not clean or secure, nobody ever in the front office or answering phone calls. Terrible experience. I stayed for about 4 hours before I decided I couldn’t doing it after moving a piece of furniture and watching 10-20 roaches crawl out from it. Still haven’t received a refund as of a week later…

The ice machine was broken and never replaced, they were baby roaches in the room, it was impossible to adjust the shower to warm it was either boiling hot or cold.

don’t always believe everything you see online. this hotel was amazing for my birthday weekend, the ocean view was amazing & the staff was very helpful & the hotel was clean. I would book again 10/10

So if you are not used to low budget..avoid this place. It is being held together with screws and nails. The bathrooms are nasty. The best part was the ocean view and terrace! We went to dollar store and got our own pillows and sheets..

there needs to be more staff at this hotel. you’re paying for what you see. rooms are outdated, there’s barely any service in this hotel. tv works sometimes only when wifi isn’t weak.
