Condor Motel

Friendly, easy check-in, real people on-site to help, clean room, comfy pillows. A block from the beach and the north end of the boardwalk, 20 minute walk to 26th street. This was just what we needed for this Solstice celebration!! Thank you!

Great location, very clean, very nice owners

We were extremely impressed . The refrigerator was not working and a new refrigerator was delivered to our rom immediately. It was a cold, rainy weekend and the cable went out and that too was restored within a few hours along with other motels in the area. Our stay from check in to checkout the entire staff was friendly and attentive. Far exceeded our expectation with the cleanliness and attentive staff.

Elevator for 3 story hotel was a plus. Hotel employee was very sweet. Room had small ants on the walls and floor. Everything we brought, we washed as soon as we got home. I don’t think we brought any critters home with us.

The staff was so nice and helpful. It was a very convenient location and very clean.

Pool should be open later

Cute family friendly hotel. Great proximity to the Anglesea bar area and just a block off the beach. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was great!

Not much. The only positive was the pull out couch was comfortable. The mini splits were infested with mold. We notice black spots on the bed underneath the mini splits. Dusted them and checked the ac above it and sure enough pieces fell as soon as it was disturbed. Looking inside it covered the whole interior. We brought it up with the owner and she said they just had them cleaned which I took it as a common problem. She offered to move us to another room upstairs that didn’t have a bed underneath the unit and I pointed out the same black mold on the floor that had fallen from the minisplit. Since it was one night I slept with our two small children on the pull out sofa and turned off the unit and opened the window. This is a huge issue that cannot be resolved by wiping the outside of the units as they’ve been paying someone to do. They are ignoring this hazard and putting peoples health in danger. Not only that but the condensation kept building on the tile floor in the room with the unit while it was on which made for a very slippery floor. My young son slipped and fell hard. Major issues aside they did not provide dish soap, tissues or toiletries aside from a bar of soap.

The maid service was terrible. They didn’t come into the room once all week. They just knocked on the door and asked if we needed towels

The problems: the room itself smelled very strongly of mold/mildew. All clothes that I took out of my bag became damp which was disgusting. My leather sandals were even damp. Something I wish I knew in advance: you get a sheet to cover the mattress and one blanket. I could not use the blanket. I don’t believe these beige blankets are washed after each guest because I was watching the cleaning staff and they only removed the white sheet and pillowcases. I can’t possibly use a blanket that many others used. Luckily I had my oversized beach towel which was all I used for a bedsheet. If I was staying any longer than 3 nights, I would have found a store to purchase new bedding for myself. Of course between the smell, the dampness and using a towel for a blanket, sleeping was not pleasant. I can only hope that the mildew and dampness was exclusive to the room I rented. I didn’t speak to other guests about this. I can’t recommend The Condor, nor will I be able to stay there again which is a shame due to it’s excellent proximity to the beach and boardwalk.

The staff of the property were extremely kind and Struve to make your visit exceptional. The elevator was down the day I checked in, and the property reception manager had her husband carry my luggage to the third floor. This deed going above and beyond my expectations and greatly appreciated. The parking is a bit tight on the property.

I liked how clean it was when we came. I thought the elevator was a plus. Having ice was important as well. Everyone was very nice and Attentive. It was great to have two queen beds with the price we paid. We will return. A little bummed the elevator went down but nice to see they were actively trying to fix it and we got updated on when it would be fixed.

I like that the Condor is clean and right next to the boardwalk. The staff is amazing and my stay felt private and quiet!

Staff was amazing. Room was sockingly really nice. Bathroom was much bigger then I expected. Not enough outlets and half of them did not work.

The property was very clean. Steps away from the boardwalk. We were there last week of Aug, area was very peaceful at night. It is a good walk to the main strip of the boardwalk(Morey’s Pier), but we didn’t mind the walk. The kids also enjoyed taking the tram car when we didn’t feel like walking.
