Cambria Hotel Northlake Conference Center - Roanoke

Just a nice place to stay in general but the breakfast!!!!!😋

We visit the area frequently and always choose hotels that include breakfast. Usually, it is a buffet. This time, we wanted to try the Cambria, so we paid the extra fee for breakfast. We thought it was a buffet, but it wasn’t. Instead, they give you a menu with prices. The waitress kindly explained that the breakfast fee only covers $35 toward the total cost of what we ordered. This was a little confusing to me because I thought, why charge a breakfast fee if it works this way? It might be better to simply charge for breakfast separately. At the end, we were told that we would receive the total at checkout, but they did not charge us anything. When I asked about it, I was told that everything was covered. Overall, the breakfast policy was a little confusing. Also, the AC in our room made a very loud noise every time it turned back on throughout the night, which kept waking us up. Unfortunately, we were not able to get much rest.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Had some problems with charges but finally got them resolved. Wish they had a free light breakfast.

Hotel was great location. Would have given 5 star but only hotel I’ve ever been to that did not have complimentary coffee in the lobby.

This place was awesome dont buy breakfast through Expedia its only 10 dollars at hotel and is made fresh.. Really nice place especially for the price..

Staff is very nice and helpful. Hotel is newish. Great bar with food available. 👌

The room, however, seemed to be participating in an experiment to see how long a floor could go without meeting a broom. There were plenty of crumbs to keep me company, behind the door and desk. The sink had a really slow drain and the windows were pretty dirty. The pool was itty bitty, similar to a small pond. Pictures are deceiving! Now, credit where it's due... those beds were ridiculously comfortable. I slept like a baby. The hotel is so close to shopping at the outlets, Texas Motor Speedway and waterparks. The room has a great layout and came with a steamer, which we needed in a pinch! With a little more attention to cleanliness, this hotel could be a real winner and honestly, we’d stay here again.

I had two different rooms at the hotel. The two queen bed room was way above average. I have no complaints. The linens and room was super clean and I liked the room and bathroom. The king room I stayed in was okay. It had a walk in shower. It had no water pressure. My pillows just didn’t smell very good. The staff was really nice. I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and it was really good. A limited menu but definitely something for everyone. The hotel is very quiet. All in all it is a really nice hotel and would stay again.
