Great parking, good location.

The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean but there were some cosmetic touchups that are needed.
-
Outside property could you some maintenance cleanup other than that indoors is pretty nice!

They told us one thing on Booking.com when we got to the hotel they told us another thing about the price also holding a $75 fee. Every day is insane. I don’t like the fact that the prices didn’t match what it said, and I couldn’t get the room that I wanted because it wasn’t available on time

Our flight was delayed from 5:35PM, Dallas to Chicago, now set to arrive at 11:21PM. After reading Hilton's check-in policy of before midnight, I decided to call and confirm our arrival, as it would be after midnight to taxi from the airport to the hotel. The attendant said it would be ok, and to check in as normal. Great. Of course, we get there and get checked-in and given a keycard. We get to the room and its a double queen. Issue is, I "reserved", (as in made a reservation and paid for), a King Room with city view which costs more. I immediately called the front desk, just knowing there was a mistake. She, in turns tells me that our reservation was given away as its first come, first serve. Seriously? So what was the use of making a reservation if someone that arrives first, can just take? With the hotel being fully booked, I was simply left to deal with what they did. Thanks Hilton Staff - professional accommodations.

Clean room, helpful staff. Nice bar

Room was spacious and clean I did not like the price. The cost for the evening was almost $400 as though we were downtown. Additionally, i have been to the Hilton 5 thousand times at no time have I ever paid for parking. Upon check-in we were told that the cost to park overnight was $20 per car and that it would be charged to our room. I was given a tag to put on my car to identify that I had paid. I NEVER put the tag on my car, and the next morning my car and many others were still safe and sound in the lot. Also, there was no free water in the room for standard guests. You must read the bottle carefully. It states that its only free if you are a diamond or premiere customer. Lastly, not even a complimentary breakfast was provided at this location. You could get a sandwich to go for around $12. So, I have stayed at numerous hotels around the world and have never felt as nickled and dimed as I did at this Hilton. I think they do this because the number of other hotels in the vicinity is extremely limited. We were in a wedding the next day in Hickory Hills, straight down 95th street and this was the closest. Never again. I will airbnb if needed next time. Or stayed home in my downtown condo. I could have stayed at the Hyatt Regency or the Fairmont, around the corner from me for cheaper. Do Better Oak Lawn Hilton.

The worst hotel and worst experience. Was so dirty. There was a roach in our room.
-
It was just ok The website is have free continental breakfast when I asked about it at the front desk. They were pretty rude. I attended a family reunion banquet dinner and the food was horrible. Everything was cold.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly

everything we asked to get our room clean never did :(

Dining too ecpensive. Take advantage if the area restaurants which are much better.
-
Comfortable beds, great food The property was very dated and in need of significant upgrades. Several rooms were in poor condition and require substantial repairs and renovation.”

Nice enough room. Prices were jacked up due to World Cup. Reserved a 2x queen room for 3 people several weeks in advance, notified staff we would be a late check-in, and still gave away our room. Gave us a king and a roll away with no bedding (took 20 mins to get it to our room), and staff at check in said they had "a lot going on today", and acted like us not having our room was the least of their problems. Comped us with a breakfast "buffet". It was NOT a buffet, it was a continental breakfast that would have been free in most hotels.

$250 deposit for cleaning fee and $20 a day for park in the hotel parking lot
