Just ok , nothing special, wished the coffee machine clean enough to make a coffee, the kitchen doesn’t have trash bags , some service room been skipped.

Wifi not very good. Couldn't open the window to air out the room. I would've preferred a desk to the table.

I was ready to take a HOT shower but the running water after 2 min was lukewarm too cool to shower in. Finally at the 4 minute mark the water was HOT! I enjoyed a great shower I just needed to be patient! Great staff, very clean, historic and interesting, and slower time to getting Hot water but all in all I would recommend!!

I stayed in one of the smaller rooms, which was fine for me and my 1 night stay. The bed was on the firm side, which I definitely enjoyed. The firmer the better for me! There were 2 sinks in the bathroom even though it was probably one of their smaller rooms. The block glass window in the shower was nice for natural light, and provided space to put my shower items. There was a a kitchen area with a large college dorm room type of fridge and a microwave. I arrived a couple hours before check in and was able to get into my room without any extra fees some places seem to be doing to nickel and dime you - such a turn off. So I appreciated that for sure. There are various parking lots nearby, so grab a map to be prepared in case one is full. I was back pretty late at night, so one was full, but the map guided me to another one near, which had all 4 spots available, on a Thursday night. Plenty of restaurants, bars, and shopping a short walk away, and of course the Green line and the Metra if going to Chicago without having to take your car and park. Overall, a great stay, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again while in the area.

Very nice location and price was good for it

But everything was perfect. It is a beautiful place and though we were there for one night and literally no time to enjoy sights and food we will come back.

We love staying here when we book a show at Fitzgerald’s. It’s charming, has two great restaurants attached, rooms have everything you need, and we always sleep comfortably.
-
Spacious room, very clean, comfortable bed and very quiet. Wonderful location.
-
The hotel was conveniently located in a nice neighborhood with shops and restaurants. It had a cool vintage style. Parking was easy. Check-in and check-out weren't particularly friendly, just neutral. The elevator was rickety. The room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was vintage, in a good way. Would stay again if in the area.

The plug in the bathtub had an excesive amount of mold on it. The bathroom door top hinge was almost coming off so the door did not close properly.

The hotel is super charming and the room was clean and comfortable with the exception of the very firm mattress. I guess you like it firm or you don't! The staff was very friendly and the onsite restaurants were great. I'd stay again and recommend it to my friends.
