Baymont by Wyndham Ocala Suites

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was better than I’d expected and very comfortable. Whenever I went out, I was so happy to come back and take shower in that huge bathroom then lay in that bed. And I was so happy to see I had a full kitchen in my room. So, whatever wasn’t at breakfast, I could easily make myself. The stuff was so patient when I had to replace my keys not once or twice, but three times. Not once with a complaint or show of annoyance, they were angels. Especially Kim and Amanda. And the woman that tended to my room was so mindful and polite. I almost wound up wanting to clean the room for her. Everyone there was clearly working very attentively and effectively and you can tell. A few too many bugs, but that’s mostly due to the nature around the motel and can’t be helped all the way. But honestly, they were so small they were easy to deal with. And everything else was so impressive, I can honestly say, it wasn’t that bad. I would definitely come back and hopefully I can soon. And there was so much to do in that area I was almost a little overwhelmed. I passed so many other motels during my trip that I wouldn’t touch even with someone else’s hand. I kept thanking the Lord that I clearly chose well. I’m telling anyone that would wanna visit that this is the place to stay for a good time.

We reserved 3 rooms, they were not ready at 3:00 check in. Told to come back in an hour, when we did only one room was ready. The other two rooms were not ready until 5:15. We did not receive any compensation for our inconvenience. We were very tired from our traveling and wanted to rest. Staff was friendly, room was clean when we finally got in.

Breakfast was typical, cereal, bagel, waffle & coffee. Nothing to write home oer.

I was charged by both the hotel and hotel.com I did not leave the room a mess so why did they not reimburse my $100? I’m calling my bank and telling them about this fraudulent charge and how this website won’t even let me speak to a human to resolve this

My experience was not so good. Checked in to go to the soul rodeo in Ocala + I was able to enter the room for check-in + immediately noticed that the AC seemed to quit working. I went to the front desk before I went to the event to let them know. Maybe they can take a look at it while I was gone but nobody was available at the front. At the time I was there I knew they were on site, however they were not in the. I went to the event I came back to tell the staff if they can switch me to a room with working AC. They accommodated me by moving me to a different role, however it feels like it was the same issue. I decided to just eat the cost and I travel 2 hours back home the same night. I can be hot at home.

Our room was very clean, the bedsheets were very clean and spotless. Our room, a standard with two queen beds, came with a full kitchen to which we were shocked by. A full size refrigerator, an oven, kitchen sink, cabinets (with bowls, plates) it had everything you basically needed. The bathroom was very clean and had plenty of towels. For a motel less than $100 a night, it was well worth its price. HOWEVER... the free breakfast the next morning needs A LOT of help. They had a coffee machine, orange juice, cranberry and apple juice, and lemonade but did not offer FRESH DRINKING WATER??? They told us to refill our water bottle by buying bottled water in the lobby. We thought it was very weird. If you book here, please go out and have breakfast elsewhere. They waffle maker could not save it either as the batter literally tasted rancid.

The manager listened well enough to understand what did not meet our expectations. The team attempted to remedy the problems but not all were fixed. The kitchen staff and breakfast area was satisfactory. When we entered, there was no hand soap at the bathroom sink and the shower soap container was empty. The manager replaced the empty shower container provided no hand soap for the sink area. We had to use the Palmolive dishwashing liquid to wash our hands after using the toilet. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working properly for the TV as well as the phone. So we could not call the front desk and we could not watch television. A staff member fixed the desk phone and did her best to fix the TV. However, she did not tell us that the eye of the television monitor was tucked behind the television monitor so our remote was not working properly. The kitchen light bulb was creating a strobe effect in the kitchen area and could not be turned on. Sometimes that can trigger migraines and epileptic seizures for some people. There was a hair cluster embedded in the top of the duvet on one of the beds. It appeared to be a spider at first, but it was a hair cluster which is gross to find on a bed. The woman, I shared the room with, and I would appreciate a fair discount for our inconveniences.

Room was not very clean. Dirt on the floors, dirty glass left in the window seal, dirty washcloth left on shower head. No curtain on bathroom window. They tried covering bathroom windown with frosted window film but there was a 2" gap around the border of the window. It was a pain to watch tv. You had to do to many things to get the tv to work

Room too dark. Floor filty. Someone a few doors down sitting outside his door smoking pot. (Got the impression he was living there)

Everything was really nice!

We didnt checkout the free breakfast and we were here only for a night stopover to our final stop do it’s not fair to make an assessment.

It was pet-friendly, but it won't be charged on the original booking. The hotel was easy to find and the staff was helpful.
