Baymont by Wyndham Ocala Suites

We did not feel safe. We have stayed at Baymonts before, but this one was tucked back in a neighbor that appeared to be not too safe.

Clean room nice front desk

Room was not ready upon arrival at 3:00pm, due to staffing shortage, which was no big deal, I had time to wait. Front desk did their best. Room was clean, however the a/c was barely keeping the room cool. Asked for a fan and was informed the 3 fans that they have were already in use in other rooms. Aside from the fan issue, and not being able to pay cash for bottled drinks or snacks, I would recommend this hotel.

We showed up 1 room was never cleaned. A total disaster. We changed our own bedding and bath.room had crap everywhere.booked 10 am.showed up at 5 pm.no compensation.all of ocala area was full.i expected a refund for the room seeing as we did their job

The stay was decent. The air conditioning did not seem to work well. Breakfast was decent and the lady in the breakfast area was very helpful.

The people were nice the rooms were nice had a hard time with the TV and I was a little disappointed there was no swimming pool

The room was priced fair. Sinks had nice hot water. A day after I checked out I discovered a $50 pet fee. This amount was not disclosed on the web site when reserving the room. It stated a pet charge may apply but not the amount. The fee was almost as much as the room. The employee was very rude and unpleasant with me on the phone.

Didn't have our room booked. We got a king suite only offered a standard queen without refund. She refused to give difference, left on principle and still haven't gotten refund.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was better than I’d expected and very comfortable. Whenever I went out, I was so happy to come back and take shower in that huge bathroom then lay in that bed. And I was so happy to see I had a full kitchen in my room. So, whatever wasn’t at breakfast, I could easily make myself. The stuff was so patient when I had to replace my keys not once or twice, but three times. Not once with a complaint or show of annoyance, they were angels. Especially Kim and Amanda. And the woman that tended to my room was so mindful and polite. I almost wound up wanting to clean the room for her. Everyone there was clearly working very attentively and effectively and you can tell. A few too many bugs, but that’s mostly due to the nature around the motel and can’t be helped all the way. But honestly, they were so small they were easy to deal with. And everything else was so impressive, I can honestly say, it wasn’t that bad. I would definitely come back and hopefully I can soon. And there was so much to do in that area I was almost a little overwhelmed. I passed so many other motels during my trip that I wouldn’t touch even with someone else’s hand. I kept thanking the Lord that I clearly chose well. I’m telling anyone that would wanna visit that this is the place to stay for a good time.

We reserved 3 rooms, they were not ready at 3:00 check in. Told to come back in an hour, when we did only one room was ready. The other two rooms were not ready until 5:15. We did not receive any compensation for our inconvenience. We were very tired from our traveling and wanted to rest. Staff was friendly, room was clean when we finally got in.

Breakfast was typical, cereal, bagel, waffle & coffee. Nothing to write home oer.

I was charged by both the hotel and hotel.com I did not leave the room a mess so why did they not reimburse my $100? I’m calling my bank and telling them about this fraudulent charge and how this website won’t even let me speak to a human to resolve this

My experience was not so good. Checked in to go to the soul rodeo in Ocala + I was able to enter the room for check-in + immediately noticed that the AC seemed to quit working. I went to the front desk before I went to the event to let them know. Maybe they can take a look at it while I was gone but nobody was available at the front. At the time I was there I knew they were on site, however they were not in the. I went to the event I came back to tell the staff if they can switch me to a room with working AC. They accommodated me by moving me to a different role, however it feels like it was the same issue. I decided to just eat the cost and I travel 2 hours back home the same night. I can be hot at home.

No pool

Our room was very clean, the bedsheets were very clean and spotless. Our room, a standard with two queen beds, came with a full kitchen to which we were shocked by. A full size refrigerator, an oven, kitchen sink, cabinets (with bowls, plates) it had everything you basically needed. The bathroom was very clean and had plenty of towels. For a motel less than $100 a night, it was well worth its price. HOWEVER... the free breakfast the next morning needs A LOT of help. They had a coffee machine, orange juice, cranberry and apple juice, and lemonade but did not offer FRESH DRINKING WATER??? They told us to refill our water bottle by buying bottled water in the lobby. We thought it was very weird. If you book here, please go out and have breakfast elsewhere. They waffle maker could not save it either as the batter literally tasted rancid.
