The hotel grounds were well maintained along with the swimming pool.

Check in was easy, property was clean and maintenance was always on site maintaining cleanliness. We only ordered food one night from the bar/restaurant, but the shrimp tacos and pizza were delicious! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The only downsides- We wanted to cross the street to Zeke’s restaurant and a few other shops, but the highway was always so busy we feared for our lives! We didn’t have a car and the town is not walkable so we relied on uber, which was quite convenient, but it seemed silly to order an uber to go across the street. The only suggestion for Island House is to please invest in some fabric softener for your towels! Other than those very minor issues, a perfect stay!

Location is great for my needs Staff was super nice Starbucks inside being able to walk straight to the beach! My new favorite spot.

The cafe food was good as well as the half price drinks during happy hour. I will definitely book directly with this hotel and not hotels.com.

Loved the location, the room size, loved the spacious balcony, very clean and friendly staff. Also loved that there was a Starbucks in the lobby as well! The pillows seemed cheap and do not meet the quality of the hotel.

Every room has a direct waterfront view. I have been staying there for 25 years. My favorite hotel on the beach.

Location is wonderful. Facilities were clean. Have stayed here several times throughout the years. The room next to us had children screaming at 1:00 AM. Garbage truck slammed whole dumpsters while picking up trash at 5:30 AM on a Sunday morning.

The ocean view ! All the staff were very welcoming. Clean and smelled good ! I cannot say one thing I did not like.

The only thing was the tub was hard for us to get in and out of. We are in our 80s so an option for a walk in shower would be good
