Best Western Premier The Tides

We chose to go back to the Tides after about 8 years and it was great to see this place was still awesome The Beach view was great, the room was clean and well maintained and the staff was as helpful and courteous. Parking was $10 a night which is well worth it because of the convenience and safety. Also plenty of places to eat near the hotel as well. It was a great time there.

Great experience

Our balcony overlooked the beach and was a beautiful view. The beach in our section was not overly crowded. I only have 1 complaint about staff and that is one day we came back to our room and the door was not shut all the way after they had brought us fresh towels and emptied our trash. The only other thing I disliked was not having a coffee pot in the room. I would definitely stay there again and hope to do just that next summer!

I arrived for check-in at 3:57PM and was told no rooms were available and when I asked when a room would be available, the desk clerk said she didn't know. I didn't get a room assignment until 4:32PM.

Great access to beach. Super clean rooms. Extra towels for the asking including beach towels. Bar and pool area were wonderful. The best part is the price, less than half the average Orange Beach condo and the location is awesome. Walking distance to tons of restaurants, Publix, Walmart, and Zeke's Marina and Oyster Bar. We will be back for sure!

First time staying here, nice little place, breakfast was delicious, staff was friendly, room was clean and cold. Pizza was ok, it’s thick style but good flavor. They have a small gift shop with some snacks and meds, no antacids. Would stay again.

Staff took a extra 30 minutes to check me in after I arrived early and ask for a early check in. Parking wasn’t free and the location to enter and exit was difficult. Had to wear a rise band while on property and it was very tight even on my kids.a lot of construction was going on in the area

My family and I stayed at Best Western Premier – The Tides from June 23–25, 2026, expecting an enjoyable beach vacation, but we were disappointed when the ocean-view room we paid for overlooked a construction site, our room was never serviced during our stay, and we had to request clean towels ourselves. During breakfast on June 24, we also experienced poor customer service, as we were repeatedly overlooked and had to ask multiple times for drinks and basic service while other guests were attended to promptly. Because these issues significantly affected our stay, I reported them to Best Western Customer Care (Case #39843) and am respectfully requesting a 50% refund of $470.50 from the $941.00 we paid. Na

Access to the beach the pool had hoses to spray sand off

Parking deck is a little tight. Lots of cement Pilar’s in middle of spots creating tight squeeze. Arm bands are required while coming in and out of hotel and you need your room key to access pool which was a little inconvenient but not terrible

Excellent stay! The staff were all welcoming and helpful. The views are amazing. Breakfast cost 14. 95 and was worth every penny--they had much more than would be offered at a free breakfast. One day they even served shrimp and grits!
